I know I’m in the minority here, but the GTI is the most overrated car in my opinion. I drove a 2018 or 2019 model before I purchased a different VW just to see what the fuss was about, and I have rarely been that disappointed in my life.

Exactly. Same issue with EV cars. Maintenance and gas on an ICE bike are pretty cheap, so that’s not even a factor. it’s a a hard sell when you can get a new ICE bike with more power for 10K less.
