I already have to pay usually for checked-in luggage, as my carry on is my laptop + camera + lenses. So, if I would have to pay for weight, even if I'm 70kg (~155 for non metric people), I probably always carry around 10 or 20kg more between my equipment and clothes. I would be *really* screwed.

I don't think so. For instance, seeing the the BCN airport on Google Maps: it has 2 main runways, both paralel, and a smaller one that runs "between" them at an angle of 45° or so. And that one really looks smaller, I'm not sure a big jet could use it normally.

What I would like to see is the context of those numbers, i.e., not only the percent values, but the quantity of energy used. As big as Apple new datacenter is, I think Apple in general uses less energy than Google or Facebook.

Uhm... I'm pretty sure my cat can fall from around 5-6 feet and be able to right herself without problems. I would expect that anything above that would present no problems for a cat to right itself.

I would think that kind of restrictions are in a big part a marketing thing. If they allow the FPS to go much higher, say, 10fps or so, they could be cannibalizing some of the sales of the 1Dx (which I'm sure this camera will do in any case).
