This is a weird take. Cena’s brand is in no way entangled with Wile E Coyote. Few are even aware he’s in the movie, and among those who are he might even get a little punk cred for being done wrong by a villain like Zazlov.

And otherwise I see no evidence his career is on any downward slope, or upward or anyward but

Bring back the Grilled Stuft

He’s blonder than Koppel!

I haven’t seen Glazer’s film, but I’d kick out Scorcese for Gerwig in a heartbeat. Flower Moon is absolutely bog-standard late career Oscar bait. It’s perfectly fine work, but in no way surprising or refreshing or interesting from a directorial view and nowhere near his career bests. It’s just, Marty made a movie so

We still have our PS3 to this very day actually, for this reason. Haven’t played a game on it in years, but it’s still a damn good Blu-ray player.

Don’t defame Zune that way

Bay didn’t direct Con Air

Yeah, I object to the headline framing this as a defeat for Godzilla. It did pretty dang well for a foreign language film with basically no ad spend. Not that it doesn’t deserve to do better - hopefully word of mouth will keep it going a while.

Who is Kafaka!?!? Tell me!!!

Well it’s not going to work without him if they don’t even have the balls to leave him out of the title

Well I absolutely despise that title.

But otherwise, okay? I dunno. I trust Miller. But when I got excited for a Furiosa movie after Fury Road came out... what I really meant was a Charlize Theron movie. I’m not sold on whatever this is yet.

Yeah no. Reshoots *undercuts* his point because reshoots are generally the result of the very “executive supervision” he’s talking about, and apparently they didn’t help.

Plus if it had come out a year earlier it wouldn’t have had to suffer constant comparisons to BG3

Come come. THE Thanksgiving movie is Addams Family Values

Her Insta bio has the same Gaza charity link as Melissa’s. I’d be surprised if there isn’t some amount of (artfully deniable) solidarity going on here.

Nah. I went in opening weekend with no intention but to enjoy it and, just, ugh. It’s not entirely Scott’s fault to be fair, it’s beautifully directed - but from one of the most offensively, obnoxiously stupid screenplays ever written.

Stick a fork in the multiverse for sure. 4 major MCU projects have already covered it, only to be thoroughly outclassed in the public consciousness by Spider-Verse and EEAAO. It’s worn out, and I highly doubt Feige’s got something clever enough up his sleeve to revitalize it. The only thing the multiverse has left to

You mean the last MCU movie? Or last overall? Because between Spider-Verse, D&D and Barbenheimer this has been the best summer I’ve had at the movie theater in YEARS

Agreed. I saw it months after release and was so confused what everyone was complaining about. It’s got some issues, but no more so than Ragnarok. I guess it’s not as audaciously weird as Ragnarok. But still, phase 4-5 has certainly given us a lot worse
