I hope they contact Elden’s parents and just get a different picture of him in a pool - like just keep using these pics and getting sued until they find one of Elden where he’s like, “No, that one is pretty good actually.”

While it would be disappointing as a gamer and Nintendo fan, if they had a 4K system ready to go, but never released it strictly to spite Bloomberg, I’d respect them for the pettiness.
Not really. Switch OLED is going to be a niche item that not everyone will view as worth the upgrade or the extra $50. If you only play docked, it’s not worth it. If you’re a new Switch buyer, you’re probably not the tech savviest type of person to care about OLED benefits. Now, 4k offers a clear upgrade, but not…
Good, I’m glad they’ll stop covering such lighthearted stories like Aunt May’s fate in the first game.
Every game should be cel shaded or 2D sprites. Everything else eventually looks like garbage. In 1994, nothing could look better than Donkey Kong Country. It used CGI models like Jurassic Park (or so we were lead to believe by the promotional VHS tapes Nintendo sent out). Mortal Kombat looked way better than Street…
Because I know what my backlog looks like.
As someone who missed every Castlevania after SNES, which games in the collection are “can’t miss?” Are there any that can be ignored?
I’m keeping my expectations low. I’m thinking we’ll see a Breath of the Wild 2 release date, ports of the Wii U Zeldas, remasters of the N64 and GBC Zeldas, remastered Mother Trilogy, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Mario Kart 9, Mario Odyssey 2, a 2D Mario, N64, GB/GBA, and Radar Scope added to…
They’ve released Mario 64 on All Stars. Both Zeldas have superior versions on 3DS as does Star Fox. They’re remaking Mario Party. A lot of the rest doesn’t hold up. Just let us buy Rare Replay (work something out), and give us playable versions of the 3DS remakes.
So it won’t be able to do 3D audio through capable sound bars or systems? Won’t it just pass that audio it would’ve passed to the TV to the system?
I’ll put that launch window up against any other console. It had 3rd party staples like Madden and Tony Hawk. It had Luigi’s Mansion, Wave Race, and Rogue Squadron to start and Pikmin and Smash Melee a few weeks later.
Everything AEW is doing is allowed to exist because Vince is stubborn. Fans got behind Punk and Daniel Bryan, they succeeded despite Vince. The plan was always to push Cena/Reigns. The reaction Adam Cole got on Sunday he also got in NXT. The type of wrestling going on in AEW was happening in NXT. AEW put 10,000 in Now…
There’s nothing that is surprising “in that universe.” It carries over many things that have been done before in Mario games which by nature, are whimsical.
Think about the WTF moments in SMB 3 where a fish swallows you whole or the sun starts chasing you. Think about accidentally finding a coin airship or the one spot in the game with a hammer bros suit. Think about seeing a keyhole in Mario World and wondering what the hell it does only to find out later. There is no…
I’ll forever maintain that if Wii U launched with Mario Maker instead of NSMB U, it lives a better life. It goes from “I don’t get it,” to “That’s cool, I might want that.” It’s still a clunky Switch prototype, but probably 2x more people give it a chance.
And yet he didn’t sprinkle any of that whimsical pixie dust on the New Super Mario Bros series
We desperately need either an N64 Classic or N64 added to Switch Online so we can put an end to any revisionist history that DK64 was anything but a bland, boring collect-a-thon.
Imagine how awesome their lineup would be had they waited until now to release PS5 where they could launch with enough systems to better satisfy demand. They would have Ratchet, Miles Morales, and Returnal at launch, they could complement those with the ports of Ghost, Death Stranding, etc, and they’d have the promise…
Having not seen the documentary, it seems he bought the soundboard after the studio closed and put it in his home studio, and that purchase inspired him to make the documentary - per my reading of its Wikipedia page. The studio closed in 2011, the movie was made 2 years later.
How could you have anger-filled anything against Grohl? Like the worst thing you could say would be “Meh, his music isn’t for me.”
