While the ideal situation would be for bigots to learn their lesson and grow as people, that ain’t happening, so here’s hoping they boycott the parks so the rest of us get shorter, asshole-free  lines

The original is available on PS3, PS4, and PS5. Visually, it shows its age a little, but it plays fine. There’s no point to remaking it.

The tighter confines of the game helps. With Mario, I could leisurely work my way through a level giving myself plenty of time and space to prepare for extra stuff coming my way. I lost interest pretty fast. Pac-Man and Tetris are literally games about not running out of space.

(Looks at giant backlog of games)

Wasn’t there a rumored Switch version as well? That would be my preferred platform where I could play while watching a real baseball game in the background.

Not me. I was dumb enough to buy it in September. I would pay $90 for a version that didn’t include Sunshine.

Brag, brag, brag. Look at me! I used the freezy stuff for it’s intended gum removal purpose and didn’t waste the entire can sneaking up behind coworkers and spraying a hint of it on the backs of their necks.

I think they keep ports in their back pocket in case something gets delayed which is why we got 3D All Stars and Pikmin 3 last fall, 3D World in February. I think the reason we didn’t hear about the Zelda HD ports is because if BotW 2 is ready, we get that with the ports coming out early next year. If it’s not ready,

I’d rather just get a new Wave Race. By the end of this year, there will be more than enough Mario and Zelda stuff to last through the Switch and Switch Pro. That install base should be around 100 million by the end of the year, let’s start giving some love to some lapsed or under-appreciated IPs. Maybe Wave Race,

Knowing nothing about programming, GCN seems do-able. There was a rumor that Mario All Stars was not an idea until February, and they got Sunshine to work with minimal upgrades. Galaxy came over which was a Wii title, and Prime Trilogy was a Wii title, so that covers Prime 1&2. If you can get Prime Trilogy and

35th Anniversary of Zelda in which we’ll surely get more than Skyward Sword HD

At a certain point, what are you waiting for? The number of people who hung onto PS3s and who are still actively shopping for new games has to be so minuscule that it’s just not profitable for Sony. If you’re still searching for hidden gems, what’s taking so long? I’m sure there’s thousands of lists of the top 100 PS3

When they’re not in an arms race, they let their systems live as long as they can (handhelds, NES). When they have direct competition, the lifespans are shorter (SNES, N64, GCN). DS was probably launched early in GBA’s life because they had to fend off Sony’s entry into handheld. Wii U was DOA. Since they’ve exited

We’re still 12-18 months away from PS5/Series X from getting a decent amount of games built exclusively for the next gen consoles, perhaps longer because they can’t make the new systems as fast as they would like.  As long as they’re making games with a PS4/Xbox One version in mind, they will be able to find ways to

I have an LG CX Oled, and the Switch looks really good, but there are jaggies in some games like New Donk City in Mario Odyssey, Pikmin 3, etc. It will be like switching from Blu Ray to 4K UHD. The jump from 1080p to 4k is nice, but not that drastic. The secret sauce is really the HDR. Assuming this system has HDR,

Really not much gets ported now. It’s a great machine for 1st party. It’s the premiere destination for indie games. We got ports of older games from PS3/360 gen. The big ones are Doom, Wolfenstein, and Witcher 3 and a few sports games.

Every Metroid game after the original Prime has been played 2-4 hours, paused, picked up again to discover I’m now lost, and abandoned. The Metroidvania genre as a whole does this to me, so recent games like Hollow Knight and Ori meet the same fate. In 8 years when my kids are out of the house and Metroid Prime 4

I, for one, am happy they’re going back to Dr. Seuss. Let’s start at the beginning and rebuild those reading skills so that someday when those skills get them to the point where they can actually read Atlas Shrugged, they’ll realize how fucking stupid it is.

The Capcom Zelda games feel like when see your favorite band, but they replaced the original lead singer. It feels similar, but something is off in the formula.

I bought Switch on launch day and have had zero issues with joy con drift. It obviously sucks that it happens at a high rate, and they should’ve figure out a solution by now, but it doesn’t always happen.
