Put a D-pad on left joy con like on the Lite. NES/SNES games look better on the smaller screen, but the lack of a true d-pad sucks. So few games use the joy con its side, and there’s plenty out in the wild for the Mario Partiers, let us have the better control scheme

It’s not going to be at PS5 power, it’ll be like checkerboard 4K, so it’ll be $350-$400, and all of the games will need to be able to work on Switch/Lite because they’re not ditching what will be an install base of almost 100 million by then.

Credit where it’s due, at least they didn’t steal the concept of the game this time, give it away for free, and make their money in microtransactions

It should go without saying, but spoiler alert:

You can admire historical figures despite their flaws or because of them.

I respect that Pokemon helps them pay the bills, but it never clicked for me. I’m happy it makes other people happy.

Once the firmware is installed, Bloomberg explains, owners would need to remove the PS5's cover and connect a storage device.

As a Nintendo fan, but not a Pokemon fan, I kept my cool last week because they only announced the release schedule up through August leaving September through December available for Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4, Mario Kart 9, Mario Odyssey 2, and whatever else my unrealistic, but hopeful mind can dream up.

Hopefully the other half was that the show wasn’t in any way entertaining.

I looked it up because Skyward Sword came out that year to critical acclaim, but it sold poorly (by Zelda standards) and is trashed in numbers that far exceed its sales. Now, the game has flaws. It’s the Mario Sunshine of Zelda games, but a bad Zelda is still pretty solid. So why the hate?

It’s February. They will. We have plenty of time. They’re saving it as an apology for inevitably moving Breath of the Wild 2 to 2022.

Nothing makes me happier than ads with same sex couples, interracial couples, and the term “happy holidays,” because I know someone, somewhere gets pissed

I’ll buy this, but if they just remade Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger with this art style, I’d buy like 1000 copies and build a fort out of them never leaving the house again.

My theory is that if Nintendo launched the Wii with the 1:1 controls for a Zelda game that we got later, and if the Wii was at least 720p, the industry is drastically different today. By the time the Wii got Wii Remote Plus, people were over what they thought motion controls were, and by the time Skyward Sword came

There’s already rumors that the Wii U Zelda HD games are still coming. I suspect they’re keeping stuff in their back pocket. If BotW 2 isn’t ready this year, they’ll drop those Zelda games. If they have another fall title planned be it Bayonetta 3, maybe Mario Kart 9, and that game hits a snag, they’ll drop Prime

“We have nothing to announce on Breath of the Wild 2” means “we’re not sure if it’s going to be ready by the holidays.”

I think you give people the option of motion controls, but if you want to map the sword movements to the right stick, that’s fine. The game has a good story, good dungeons, and it has one of the best Zelda soundtracks. It’s not as good as its 95 on Metacritic, but not nearly as bad as the backlash it received. It’s a

The blessing of Nintendo is that they’re always willing to try new things and experiment. The curse is that it’s hard to maintain a connection to their history without keeping a handful of extra systems lying around. Skyward Sword didn’t look great on HDTV, so if they could clean that up, and like Mario Galaxy, give

Nintendo knows damn well that if you bought a Wii U, you’ll repurchase the HD Zelda re-releases. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go finish playing Super Mario 3D World again.

I’m mentally preparing myself for 30 minutes talking about the return of Easter Eggs to Animal Crossing and maybe a Kremling in Smash so I can’t be disappointed. Anything better is a bonus.
