They should have taken at least six months after launch to see how the was doing and work on core issues before trying to do season. And yearly expansions apparently! Are they insane?

Yeah, strange that vanilla L&O and Criminal Intent didn’t restart their rooms I guess? Unless they were always going to be midseason
YouTube, so close enough.
On the Inside Conan podcast, the 6/24/2022 and 8/2/2023 episodes are Conan and Jeff Ross talking about getting the late night show. As you can imagine, Lorne’s name comes up a lot. They are great episodes to listen to
The biggest issue is that, for the on-site workers, they are living in North Carolina. If they want to stay in the games business, those 6 months are going to be spent moving.
I miss Thinkgeek :( I agree, what Thinkgeek sold for the most part were evergreen products - video game, fantasy and sci-fi collectibles. It was a really neat place. The 8ft of shelves that showed up at the front of Gamestop stores was not a replacement.
I think the problem is most of GameStop’s money now probably…
I do wonder if Microsoft will consciously uncouple some of the stupid support studio moves Activision has made lately. Pretty sure VV has done all they can to help with Diablo 4. And then you have all those studios that just came CoD support studios. Which doesn’t seem to be helping get new games out.
Is Rogue One even an Edwards film? It sounds like Tony Gilroy came in and reshot a lot of it. Good reason for it to feel choppy in edits. Edwards was asked about it recently and gave a very professional answer
Oh I absolutely expected them to exit hyperspace in our galaxy.
Hmm? He’s getting a big payday but he (most likely) will be gone and on a yacht by the end of the year. So we get what we want. Even if he does too
JohnRiccitiello? The former EA CEO who over a decade ago proposed charging people to reload their weapons in an FPS? Sounds like Unity knew who they were hiring.
I mean, the reason to not go back to cable is that most of this content isn’t available on cable. So obviously it all depends on what you want to watch, but cable wouldn’t help me with over 50% of the shows I watch.
Sea of Stars is what I expected all of Square’s “Project” games to be, but they keep falling short. Not sure why an indie studio who has never made an RPG before can capture the magic and nostalgia better than Square can.
Agree 100%. Plus think of all the money he left on the table by not being able to sell Trump branded masks! $24.99 for one piece of tissue paper, and his supporters would never take it off!
I still maintain he would have won re-election if he took Covid seriously, and didn’t turn masking into some bullshit political issue.
This feels a bit cringe. I’ll reserve final judgement for when it comes out because I really enjoyed the original show, but I’m not sure it’s going to work again.
Ehh, I’d like to counter that by saying I think releasing early in the year was smart. It let the early adopters get their fix, while also having time to replenish and get consoles on shelves for the holidays.
Episode 4 this past week was the worst for this. I actually felt the first 3 were an improvement over last season but man did episode 4 drag down speed the story. And we’re halfway done season 2 already!
Person of Interest has a great scifi mythology buried inside the network-mandated MOTW episodes. Really good show for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
