Garnet.

Love the return of the knock-off action figures.

I think that the dance being hypnotic is a bit of a stretch…

This episode was huge for it, too. Despite the many sweet moments they have (the framing segments of Garnet's Universe are fantastic), it's by far the deepest we've delved into their relationship, and I'm fairly certain the most emotionally vulnerable we've seen her, as well. Wonderful growth in here.

I felt the same way once that Dickensian plot kicked in. I couldn't be happier that those two got theirs, and the added bonus of lore, trippy visuals, and a creepy monologue from Ron Perlman certainly sweetened the deal, as worrying as the implications may be.

Steven Universe thread!

It feels like Steven Universe is left out of even the "What else is on?" category for the express purpose of causing us pain. It's like they get off on being withholding.

Hooray! Those episodes were definitely where my (already high) opinion on the show was elevated to new levels (as if lifted to the top of a spire of ocean water). I love how Lapis Lazuli's reveal and outburst were so immensely affecting, both emotionally and by how they force you to reevaluate the entire lore of the

I send a Woosh greeting to all of my friends on their birthdays. This is truly a great loss.

Dropping a line to agree with you two. They were the top guys, especially Mitchell and Kalpakis.

You think it's bad? Try being in northern Michigan and hearing that song ALL SUMMER WITHOUT END. The pain still haunts me.

Wonderful! I'm excited.

For a rough metric, the first ten episodes are good, 10-24 are great, and then once the two-parter happens, things kick into top gear awesomesauce.

Five more episodes… I want to hear from you after you see the two-parter.

While I can't say I was terribly fond of the first half of the episode, I'm excited to see what the events of the second half (GLOB IS DEAD) bring. If last week's episode and the title card of the next, Gold Stars, are anything to go by, shit's about to get Lich-y. http://img2.wikia.nocookie….

On the Kitchen Calamity game: not only does it seem like the most fun shizz (I also need that dice-rolling blender in my life), but it was yet another scene where the show casually and funnily encapsulated the gems' personalities through mundane activities- those moments are the tops.

Speaking of that, remember how his new hand has a thorn sticking out of the palm? It's definitely a good thing that the other is still normal, because… ouch.

They don't just look itchy, they appear to be the very essence of itch. Oh glob, I have no idea how I never realized this, but Finn is constantly surrounded by either candy or trees. His clothing must be the stickiest shit.
