Wonderful episode. It was a rare moment of vulnerability for all of the gems at once. For Steven to look out for their feelings and morale just as they were his was touching, and it's evident of him maturing from where he was at the beginning of the show for him to handle it so well.

It's also known as CSI: Mushroom Kingdom.

Yeah! They need to put on a show, don't they?

So, "add more dancing" is the one direction he has to offer to boy bands?

My eyes widened a bit at the mention of the men behind the helm of Kon-Tiki. Those guys know their seafaring. Might actually get me to watch Pirates 5.

That's my endorsed theory as well, which you can see in my reply to @wolfmanjew:disqus.

What they don't mention is that absorbing the souls of your twitter followers is the easiest way to ensure immortality in under 140 characters.

Raising a family in the midwest! Brilliant! Groundbreaking!

Krakowski seems to be playing very close to Jenna. For another actor, that might bother me, but considering that I will watch orange juice commercials just to see more of her, I'm absolutely stoked.

Considering that he's using the stylus, it's obviously not a GBA game in bottom, so this is the most likely case.

I had a similar issue when I read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. A scene taking place in 2003 made mention of a DS, yet the DS wasn't out until '04.

*pushes up glasses* No dice on that. It's a DS Lite. No memory card or downloadable titles until the DSi.

One of the greatest moments of my life was when my friends and I were on the receiving end of his stage banter at a show. The way we were dancing reminded him of a place where he used to do gigs just starting out, so he told a story and wrapped it up with "I fuckin' appreciate it." Amazing night.

I listened to Jack Frost earlier tonight. The "I AM ALWAYS LISTENING" bit left me reeling with silent laughter in the middle of the library. Beautiful stuff.

Fun stuff! I was only alerted to the show's existence this Friday, and I'm glad I was able to catch it. As it is, it has plenty of potential. Star is fun and unconventional, and there were some great gags (Tetris, anybody?) scattered throughout. I'll be keeping an eye on it, for sure.

Absolutely. It's only become so much better once reviews stopped. Even as much as I loved the show at the outset, I didn't anticipate being so thrilled by the expanding lore or touched by the emotional beats.

It's not soundalike, it's actual chip music made with old nintendo systems. That's Surasshu's gig. Aivi Tran, the other composer, creates the piano portion of the score. Since you like the music, I'll point you to aivi-surasshu.bandcamp.com , where they have an amazing free album.

I just started B99 last week, and the assurance of more of it is nothing but a good thing. I'm looking forward to it.
