Save is a relative term. I wish I had unlimited funds to put into my ‘93 RX7...Maybe in the next few years... It’s not all that bad as is although high mileage, but at 20+ it’s going to need some love ($) in the not too distant future...

Rest easy. I’m sure my audit is on the way.

Nice to see a government employee could stop surfing porn long enough to save us from this deviant.

I almost used the Parkinson’s reference... I thought maybe it was Michael J. Fox. Then I imagined the Back to the Future camcorder scene with Doc Brown chewing him out for shaking the camera. Then I imagined everyone on Jalopnik chewing my insensitive ass out.

My favorite guy is the one holding the camera. I assume the camera is shake weight powered?

When you get your Tesla let me know. I’ll drive up there and we’ll both leave Toronto at 4am and see who gets to Florida first. Last one in the state hands over the pink slip.

Except that I never said, for example, the RX-7 is a perfectly good off roader or that a minivan is as fast as a 458 Italia. People do say that the EV can do everything “you need” to do with a gas car. Then when you tell them what it cannot do, they say you shouldn’t need to do this and you’re a moron.

Long story short, I like it. It is only a little taller hatchish. That is a product of the short overhangs. I don’t really like the nose all that much. Looks unfinished and I guess it kind of is. My main complaint is the lack of a speedometer in the right place. I kind of assume that a HUD will put that number right

Whatever. Others are saying the EV is able to do everything that a gas car can. It can’t and probably won’t ever. I can’t believe how unable to admit what the EV is, its proponents are. What you say about it or me doesn’t change a thing. I’m not even saying the EV doesn’t have a use and a function, but you still can’t

Time will tell.

I’m glad you agree with me.

***Shaking my head.***

Actually I have said it may be exactly for me as a commuter car for work daily. It is not for me as an only car and I think most people would find the same though I may be wrong about that. I think the proponents are the ones making the big deal. I’m told I am the one that is ridiculous for not being willing to make

Like I told someone a moment ago, I am told by the proponents that the 250 mile EV is a no compromises car. Then when I point out how I would have to compromise I am told that it isn’t a compromise, it’s me being stupid and backwards. Funny post though even if it doesn’t resemble the vacation. Just because you don’t

I guess that’s my complaint. People do basically say the 250 mile EV can be a no compromises only car. Then when you point out the compromises they poo poo them and say you’re being ridiculous. That your complaint is not a sacrifice it’s you being stupid or backwards.

Ever flown three people before? It’s at least $1200. I can drive for much less than that. And I don’t have to rent a car when I get there for the week. And I get to see something in between. And I don’t have to have a sick wife and kid for a few days because of disease ridden plane air.

I know they don’t, but name calling is not what we need here...although I admittedly have no idea what an “embicile” is? <sarcasm>

Which one of those is all electric with a 200 mile range?

I extrapolated from where they said “like the Model S, but with less length and more height. Picture a sleeker Chevy Bolt.”
