Just kidding. A boy and his dog was a pretty bad post apocalyptic movie with a funny ending that had Don Johnson in it way back when.

A boy and his dog?

Unless you put the detection device at the coal plant. Or in a birds ass flying into the turbine. I will agree that if you need to drive 1000 miles in one day, the Tesla won’t polute at all for most of the day. You won’t get there, but it won’t pollute.

I live in a state that doesn’t test emissions. If I had a TDI there is no GD way I would let them “fix” it.

The EPA testing I referenced was in the last 5 years.

It wasn’t VW. It was people VW hired... There is enough evil in both government and corporations to blame both. Let’s not forget that governments created nuclear and chemical weapons and decide to use them. Governments enslave people and burn them in ovens when it’s convenient.

They are also equally bad at estimating costs.

I’ve had mine for almost 20 years now. I love it and always will. It is just a special car. The shape never gets old and the connection to the car is like nothing I have felt in a car of recent build. This is a machine you can become a part of not an appliance that drives for you.

Ah, the show trials. Grand standing douches. Every last one.

It might not have 3 viewers.

It all sounds crazy until some dumb ass politicans actually suggests it. Then, all of a sudden, every dumb ass that blindly follows the politicians lead is for it.

Did they ever consider that all of the technology that makes cheap cars as safe as they are wouldn’t exist without the development they had on expensive cars?

Fixed headline.

I was insinuating that the “eco” movement is a scam. I like many turbo engines. They increase torque on smaller engines and make them more powerful over a larger rev range yet CAN get better mileage than a large displacement engine if you want them to.

It seems to me it’s more the “Eco” part that is the scam than the “Boost” part.

I don’t think they need to approve a budget. They haven’t done that for a while now. They just need to extend the debt limit. Continuing spending resolutions take care of the rest. I don’t see this being a problem at all, really.

Best I could do on short notice:

Name calling is so sophisticated. I’m not trolling anyone. I disagree with you on this. CO2 levels are not causing warming especially in the last 18 years. CO2 levels are high now if your history starts sometime near the end of the last ice age. If you go back in the millions of years, it is not.

I know what you were saying. The level of CO2 in the air is not high by historical standards. Records recreated by proxy studies of ice cores and such have not shown much if any correlation between temp and CO2. At this point, the increase has been beneficial to our world. The greening of desert fringes in Africa and

Not that you said they did, but cats don’t kill many golden eagles or other raptors and they are the endangered animals that are being ignored. We have to destroy huge areas of farming because of smelt, but the eagles can F.O. because wind power is part of the green cult. Plenty of studies can be found (and many are
