I have found that if you maintain a car well and don’t drive like an idiot (all the time) engines last quite well. I had always heard the transmission was most likely to die in the Dodge. I did have the transmission cable seize up at about 150,000 miles. I was 500 miles from home. Had to tear apart the console and

I bought a 2001 Intrepid with the 2.7L V6 in 2003 with 30,000 miles for $6,000. I had it until 2012 and put 200,000 more trouble free miles on it. It was a great daily driver. I got good mileage and it had LOTS of room. The Intrepid is the most trouble free car I have ever owned.

I MAY have a biased opionion... but I’d like to nominate the (pictured) 787B. It is the only non-pistoned engined car to ever win this race. I think sometimes people under appreciate the disadvantage this engine has compared to pistons from a developments stand point. For over a hundred years, dozens and dozens of

Sad story. File under Rube Goldberg designed car features.

It was best to stand on the big bench front seat beside your mom or dad. That way they could put their arm over in front of you in case of emergency. Ah, the good ol’ days. RIP Dad, you were the best.

Then I’m glad you have them.

Operating a manual transmission with a turbo can take a little more practice. There are places in the rev range where you don’t get smooth operation with changes of throttle input. A manual transmission isn’t necessarily faster. It definitley takes more skill. It is also, IMHO, more fun.

Am I the only person that wonders how many air bags are really needed in a car?

Maybe they just hated Mark Webber?

And I say a perfect time to interject one of the most beautiful race cars ever. RX792P.

Look, there is nothing wrong with you having your opinions on whether people should be forced to use something or forced to “give” outrageous portions of their earnings for the common good. However, you cannot claim to care about liberty and freedom AND plan every person’s life for them. That is socialism. And the

The degree to which people have been conditioned to not care about liberty is quite astounding.

Probably the Corvette Stingray. Joking of course...mostly.

I’m pretty mixed on the Camaro. It looks fine, even pretty good at times. And certain variants have pretty impressive performance numbers. I’m just kind of over the retro thing. It is also just plain too big. Moving to a “smaller” platform is only saving 200 lbs. Great, now it’s just fat instead of morbidly obese. I’m

He was counting Mother Russia too.

I’ll watch. I do hope they go back in time just a bit to when the shows were more about the cars and less about entertainment. There isn’t anything wrong with that, it just isn’t what I liked. I want their takes on actual cars they drive with great camera work and some humor thrown in. Everything isn’t funny. Robin
