No, man, this isn’t a piece shitting on the Richest Man In The World, this is a piece shitting upon some really awful UX decisions. Sad is not being able to deal with actual valid critiques of technology without feeling like it’s an attack on Elon Musk, who I suspect will weather this onslaught just fine.

RV Driver: “Wow, this thing is really struggling.”

P.S. No dissing on GE refrigerators, this 1960s gem is still keeping beverages cold and pizzas frozen in my basement, and will probably outlive me.

What’s the current conversion rate between BaT Dollars and US Dollars?

I bet they gave him a stern torquing to.

Toyota: Rounded to the round

What could be more balanced than that?  You have the symbol for men and the name of part of the woman’s anatomy.

Agree, all that wasted space around the RAM logo, the letters could be at least 8 inches wider and 6 inches taller.

Th!nk was the first time Ford declared “We’re a Mobility Company, not just another automaker!”, soon after which then-CEO Jacques Nasser would be given the boot by Bill Ford along with all the things that weren’t basically F-series trucks.

You’re welcome! I loved seeing the Lane show up as one of the first results when I was researching the car.

There are 7 stars in the Subaru logo, you just can’t see the seventh due to the vape cloud blocking it.

Dude. I was REALLY hoping to visit the Lane Motor museum this year but the dang COVID has kept me in Canada. Here’s hoping that I can get there next year!!!!

It’s a shame the Dauphines sold new in the US would’ve lacked this feature due to mandatory sealed beams. Too bad the turn signals - which would’ve incorporated parking lights on US cars as we’re mostly familiar with - weren’t mounted on the hood where a similar setup could’ve been devised.

Not my vehicle, but worth telling.

1977 Dodge Aspen station wagon, 225 Super 6, 3-spd auto. Parents bought it new in 1977. Got a repaint in 1990.  It was our primary family car until 1991. I took it to college from 1995-1998. Back to my parents as a secondary car. Then I got it again for the last 4 years we had it. Due to circumstances had to let it

Its my personal opinion that this is the real place for EV’s right now. Not to say that I don’t think the electric vehicle isn’t the future. What I mean is that if you have limited resources, you put them to best use first. The truth is that we can’t scale up EV vehicles with the current battery technology right now,

The Lane is a national treasure. Unlike many other car museums it is truly about creativity in getting from one place to another. Their openness about actually using the cars is so refreshing.

It’s an 80's Hollywood take on what a 2020 truck would look like.

I put 25k a year on a Prius and I agree this is a great solution. I drive 50-60 miles a day for work and the 450 mile range per tank gets me a week and a half. My fun car gets filled up at least once a week when I drive it to work for more money. My gas savings when I bought the Prius was about the same as the car

Can it be modified to wake up your neighbor’s every time you go for a ride?
