Tough choice!
Tough choice!
Since I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a dozen people saying The Lane, I’ll give a shout to one of the newer museums in the country - The Savoy in NW Georgia.
So wait? Automotive or just transportation technology in general? Because that does make a difference.
I was wondering if you guys might have one :) I’ve been to the Lane three times and I’m not kidding when I say it’s my favorite place on earth.
Oh man! It was the LMM I was thinking of with all the weird cars DeMuro has reviewed when I had the “who would want to see this?” thought.
All car people need to go to the Lane! What a great collection.
The Sir Vival, currently undergoing restoration at the Lane Museum in Nashville.
Hopefully, you still post here and you’ll see the notification that I’ve responded to you, because I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to help with the restoration of Sir Vival when it shows up. (Complicated by the fact that I don’t have a car to get to the Lane.) Google the name I use here, and you’ll find an easy way to…
If it’s an electric Maverick, Dearborn can have my money right now.
That’s actually a very good deal on that little Vespa. They’re extremely hard to find. They’re also a really pleasant thing to drive. Obviously not quick, but you don’t want to be going quick in something that small. It has, no joke, the smoothest shifting gearbox I’ve ever experienced.
“We’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.”
Hey, have you seen this article? There’s two Nissan concepts in a scrapyard in La Vergne! One of them’s a really neat looking design (and the other is kinda historic since it showed the direction Nissan was going with the Quest). If Jeff doesn’t want them, maybe he knows somebody who does. https://jalopnik.com/two-nis…
Armadas, Altimas, Muranos, and Frontiers.
It isn’t a new factory. Nissan’s Canton, MS factory has been running for almost 20 years now.
Say what you want about Hitler, but at least he killed Hitler.
I’m sure there are going to be a lot of people in the comments saying things like, “That’s it, I’m out of here! I’m never reading this site again!” First, grow up. Millions of people read this site, if you want to stop, go with god.
Oh... I, uh, don’t know if I’ll still come around anymore much after this.
Dafuq? ~10 years ago I watched Jeff Lane drive his LARC over all kinds of stuff. (I was there when the BMW convertible punctured the tire on the LARC.) What kind of guy is he? I’ve ridden in one of his Tatras, so I know he’s not afraid to take his cars out for a spin. And bringing the LARC to the Lane was a white…
Shame on you for not mentioning the Lane’s Corphibian!
Would be nice to see it in my garage when I’m lookin’ out my back door.
