I love this movie! It’s Top Gun but with racecars! (I also love Top Gun, FWIW.) Tom Cruise is likeable and relatable because he hadn’t fixed his teeth yet. Nicole Kidman is gorgeous an sweet and everyone loves her because Tom Cruise hasn’t made her crazy yet. Robert Duval - before retiring and heading out on a cattle

This is a good bad movie. Best part is Nicole Kidman screaming “let me out of the cock hole”

And you would definitely know how to museum.

I think I might have the world’s only Fuldamobil tattoo.

I know, right!? Check insurance auctions. It’s fun to see what VIN washed and totally not federalized cars end up going across the block!

Oh my oh my oh my! I’ll be in Nashville this summer! :)

I’d say it’s about the tenth known roadster. I’ve been tracking the Roadsters, Crossblades, and Forfours to see how many leak through our borders. LMM’s Roadster would be number 10 for me.

My sister had the Brabus edition. It had the potential of being one of the coolest little cars ever made, but it was ruined by the dismally shit, terminally dim-witted gearbox and general sluggishness of the drivetrain. Which was a crying shame because handling-wise it was a wonderful thing, but by God, trying to

Have you driven one? Yeah, that’s the problem. That stupid transmission, that thing is overpriced even if the car was free. It’s too bad, because I otherwise it was the perfect car for me.

Oh, believe me next time I’m near Nashville I’ll definitely be visiting! Been on my radar for a few years now.

I would never doubt that an organization with your reputation would do everything by the book.

“me, an affable dipshit.”

I am gonna guess that the “DL” on that Tennessee license stands for Dealer License since there is no way that Nano can be imported such that it can be legally registered. Likely imported for “Display Only” since it isn’t 25 years old and it would in no way pass any emission, or safety standards required of US cars.

If a new Beetle emerged at some point as a low-cost, spartanly-equipped EV at some point, it would make total sense. Just put the motor and batteries in the back. ;)

People who steal electric cars should be charged with battery.

I’m gonna use that blocked-ad revenue money to buy you some nice, soothing butt-salve, and a mohair washcloth with which to apply it. Because you’re worth it.

...usually talking to another cop car in that window-to-window ‘69' thing they like to do.
