This speculation sadly seems to be entirely incorrect. When watching the second episode of the show I noticed this scar on the other side of Bernards head in the flashback scenes. So the “real” Bernard had this scar on his head but on the other side. Looking at pictures of Jeff Wright it can be seen on the left side…

I can highly recommend pork belly! I’ve done a couple of tries myself. I’ve made chashu in my sous vide. Took some recipies I found online and adjusted the liquids (don’t need as much) and just threw it in with good results.
