Power seats are ungodly heavy. I had the seats out of my P38a Rangie to fix the heaters and they had to wiegh 100lbs a piece. Non-power sport seats weigh nothing. I bet lightwieght seats would save 150lbs easy.

Yeah, pretty much. For that kind of coin I could afford to strip out a pretty fast street car and modify it, and still buy a Continental with money left over. My track car would be a better track car, and my comfy car would be a better daily driver.
