BMW and Lexus (Kia to some degree) do a good job of pushing the front wheels as close to the front bumper as possible. That’s part of what makes the cab back design look good, it also keeps the mass of the engine back and stretches the wheelbase. All good things for a sports sedan.

Jag had a mountain of racing success, but when they stepped up and made a supercar for the roads, the world yawned.
