Correction: it won’t pay the artists, it will pay those who hold control of the copywrites to the music, most likely the record labels or catalog holders. The amount of compensation for the actual artists usually widdles down to a small percentage of every dollar earned.

It absolutely matters where you build these facilities. If you build them where they’re relying on fossil fuels for power, you’re not making any difference.
