This doesn’t mean her conservatorship is over. The truth is it’s up to a judge and the judge can say no .

Except the part where it says the artificial intelligence tools send them a bunch of pictures of kids in bathtubs.

I suspect any corporation would fire someone who decided to make a single tweet that ended up costing their company multiple contracts and financially impacting their bottom line.

Lol, can’t we just be happy he got fired from his own company literally 2 days after posting that garbage =). No need for preemptive whining =p.

Sometimes it gets hard to remember, but at the time, the gay representation in The Wire was a huge deal. It says a lot that things that were groundbreaking representation-wise even 10, 15 years ago seem archaic and quaint now.

It’s still a big deal to have a major character that is both gay and non white. There was a

As the CEO of a company, part of his job is to not rock the boat, and cause falls in stock price. By saying this stuff, he did so. He was bad at his job. He lost it.

His “opinion” is that women should be stripped of their right to medical care and control of their own bodies because of his personal religious views. You can’t deny women basic human rights and then whine about lack of inclusivity.

The CEO is held to different standards than regular employees.

The company was facing economic pressure because most consumers/people aren’t anti-choice zealots. There was one bee in the bonnet leading to that pressure so they let the bee out.

This is pretty normal. Your freedom of speech applies to the government not being able to jail you for the things you say. If you work for a company freedom of speech doesn’t shield you from being fired. Companies have intrinsic values that you’ll have to be aware of. Anything that goes against those values will be

You’re conflating these instances. In one its an internal discussion about events that may be modern politics, job dynamics, compensation, etc. — This is for management and the employees to discuss what’s going on and come to something that may benefit them and the company.

The best part of him getting booted over his tweet, is that as I understand it, its wrong, they didn’t affirm it, they just decided to not use emergency powers to stop it. Most likely because the conservative majority that made the decision just hope someone else stomps it first because they’re fucking cowards scared

Dude, did you see what he posted?

It could also mean getting his golden parachute, which is equally sad.

I don’t doubt some of their employees hold the same beliefs. They can have them. If they’re ostracized for having those beliefs and stating them out loud, that is their own fault.

Good.

It says three CLOVES of garlic.  Not three heads.  Three cloves is actually an insufficient amount of garlic for almost anything.

Re: John Mulaney

God, I hope so.  My area's property tax is based on home value.  If it crashes I may be able to afford the rent on the land I own (what else is property tax than a rental fee?).

I think rates are so low you almost have to think about buying. And rents have gone up. I need to move and buying would be cheaper than renting, though I’d have to put savings down. But I’d get savings back when I sold.
