The problem is that it needs to be in conjunction with the addition of more programs that people want.

What was the point of Kalinda ratting on Canning to Alicia on the phone? It wasn't like a heads up was particularly important since Canning's increased offer/general demeanor would've shown that he knew in about 2 seconds. I know Canning is supposed to be a villain, but I didn't like the idea that Kalinda would tattle…
I've read plenty of books on the issue and I think my comment would've at least supplied enough credence to the notion that I was aware of the flaws of deriving news from TV to avoid the need for your personal attack on my knowledge.
All of what you have said is true.
Ambition is fine, but a show can be good (even great) without being hilarious. Neither seem particularly concerned with jokes, which fine. But I know way too many people who claim that these are laugh out loud funny and I haven't really seen any compelling arguments as to why that's the case.
I'm frequently bothered by people who think shows like Entourage and Girls are hilarious. Both have had moments of greatness, but neither was really laugh out loud funny with any consistency.
I enjoy Fox News' entertainment value. Since all the news outlets are dominated by partisan commentators, I fail to see MSNBC or even CNN as particularly closer to reality.
Penny and Leonard's relationship has been nothing but minor quibbles about how different they are for years now. Anticlimactic was about the only way this could've worked and yet I felt unsatisfied.
Me too.
I loved Orbach, but the show tanked for a few years following his departure. Fontana was a bit of disappointment and Green was great, but his character ran his course. Bernard and Lupo had great chemistry that could've carried the show for another few seasons.
Thanks man. It's called Five College Dialogues. Tentatively out in late August for paperback and e-book.
Waterston becomes available again since The Newsroom is ending. It's not like they couldn't bring back 70% of the old cast. A few have gone on to bigger better things, but not that many.
I actually think L&O got a bit better in its last few years with Jeremy Sisto and Anthony Anderson as the detectives and Waterston becoming the DA.
The soap opera element makes it a fun show to watch. Late season 1/early season 2 has the best plot stuff that clearly happened because they were in a bind with the Super Sentai footage and the lack of green ranger prominence which grew more problematic as Tommy's popularity started to eclipse that of the rest of…
Not really. I stopped watching after In Space when I was little and have only seen bits of newer seasons. I was obssesed with Mighty Morphin and Zeo.
I'm glad you feel the same way. Harry was my college nickname.
The Zeo Megazord and the Dragonzord are still fully functional. If someone made a movie that addressed this in the continuity, I'd probably rethink my view on the world.
I love Damon Wayans, but Coach is probably my least favorite thing about New Girl right now. He has no real reason to be there besides the fact that he was in the pilot and he doesn't mesh very well with the rest of the cast.
Ceci and Coach have been dead weight all season.
Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell are in leagues of their own. Completely unique musicians that are so hard to duplicate.
