The A380 never sold in quantities to recover its $25-30 billion development cost. And they need at least 30 aircraft on order to break even annually (according to Forbes).

Wrong. There is no pretending. You can engineer any car to be different if they so please to do so. Being that this new avalon will be riding on the all new TGNA platform i highly suspect it will be a much better luxurious ride in the luxurious model and in the sporty model it will drive more sporty.

It’s nice, but it’s still no Toyota Alphard.

My friend has an 08 IS250. That thing is a tank.

Ford is currently offering $8000 in cash incentives on the Taurus. Right now you can get one cheaper than a Fusion.

It’s mostly a joke to people that have never driven one. I’d hardly consider a V6 Camry to be a boring appliance.

Audi is a step down from BMW?

I love that the suggestion to this:

I’m ready to upgrade from my rock-solid, well-worn Camry. I liked the Camry, but I’d really like to spend more on repairs.

You can make the car more sporty without sacrificing reliability. The 2GR makes over 300hp in Lexus applications with some mild revisions. Some suspension alternations and a more aggressive shift profile in “sport mode” would go a long way towards improving the driving experience. Maybe toss in some thick bolstered

High-fives/low-sixes with the V6 though.

To me this was peak Camry. Toyota took all they knew from Lexus and brought it down to the Camry. It turned the midsized sedan on its ear. Then I agree the Camry peaked again in the new 2008 model.

for the millionth time...
