BMW is leased by ghetto people nowadays. The 3 series is as common as a Corolla in the NE and actually an eyesore. How is Audi a notch below BMW? BMWs financing practices let anyone lease one for cheap. Quality is down because dumb people are picking these up for low monthly pmts and don’t know anything about the

There was a time when BMW was an aspirational brand. Now because of easy financing / leasing…everyone has one and BMW knows this and they’re sneaking in low quality bits because they know they don’t have to over engineer their cars like they used to. I love the way they drive, but some of the even recent 2012 V8

Lexus build quality below Audi & BMW? I owned a 2012 A7 and even a 2008 Lex LS has better build quality. New BMW have very low quality build. Those little bullsh*t aluminum trim pieces are separating. And they say the vibration at idle is “normal”

If he has the 150,000 mile Camry with the 2GR V6 then he’s gonna be disappointed because most of these cars on the list have slower acceleration than a 2GR. Even top speed on a 2GR engine Camry gets you to 148mph easily.

Yes, the ZF 8 works like magic in a BMW and a 2012 Audi A7 I used to have but in the Charger it just doesn’t be work. I always rent a Charger when I go to Houston. The Chrysler products don’t have the programming algorithm correct.

The DI 3.6 & transmission combo in the Chevy sucks. I know because I have a new same platform car as the Impala. It cannot compare to the smoothness & acceleration of a 2011 Camry 3.5 V6. Tell this guy to stick to a Camry V6. They can be had for less than $30k.

Why would this person get anything else except another Camry V6? The 8 speed in the Charger is intentionally programmed like crap. None of these have the perfect V6 / transmission combo smoothness / acceleration formula like the Camry. I know because I have a newer GM product with the DI 3.6 and horrible 6spd Auto.

Stick to a Camry V6. All of these just don’t have the right formula. Charger is close because you get RWD but it’s like FCA intentionally made the transmission slow. I’m familiar with the V6 & transmission combo in GMs and you won’t like the laziness of the shifts in the Impala. Ford is not refined at all and Altima

A new X5M just a couple weeks ago. It was a fresh heavy rain and I decided to see how the AWD system & other modern driver aids work on slick conditions. Too much power and physics don’t always mix but I straightened it out. It still acts like a RWD car initially, which I like. The super sport pilots needed changing

Toyota always had sport built in to the V6 Camry since 2007. They just never advertised it as such. The 2GR with their in house 6 speed auto would switch to an agressive profile and stay there when it sensed you were driving aggressively. The tranny stays in the power band and also would rev match. Also 0-60 in 5.8

If you’re impressed with that. A V6 Camry can do that in 5.8 secs

Camry 3.5l can do it in 5.8 seconds.
