I sold our 2005 Subaru Outback XT Limited to a guy back in Sept 2022 (SW Ohio). I told the guy it came with two sets of wheels and tires (factory 17” wheels with A/S and Forester 16” wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak WS80). In his infinite wisdom he basically told me I wasted my money and wasn’t interested in the other

Regarding the future Golf GTI EV:

^ They’re right, you know.

He turned from an asset (years ago) to an extreme liability in a fairly short amount of time.  It is long past time for him to be sent packing, and the company to start the healing process from the wounds he has inflicted on it.

Is anyone using the microwave?  I need some popcorn.
EVs basically end up being as heavy as the next size class up of ICE vehicles.
But the Bolt EV with a 66 kWh battery is around 3600 lbs, so around the weight of a AWD non-hybrid Rav4.

You can’t let “facts” and “reality” and “common sense” get in the way of sensational article titles.

It’s not great, but c’mon it’s not like it is a B9 Tribeca

Who says front drive vehicles can’t drift?

Did the commenter that suggested the Model T realize the irony of their statements since Henry Ford is famously anti-Semitic? I understand the logic of the assertion, but it’s pretty weird that the productivity innovations that came from Model T production helped win WWII.

The Porsche Taycan has one of the most capable regenerative on the market 270-290 kW.  The Macan Electric will be no different.  Just because something isn’t one-pedal doesn’t mean it does not regen.  Tesla is the only company I am aware of that is only one-pedal and does not have a blended brake pedal (meaning that

How about the 2017 Chevy Bolt Premier with its rear view mirror screen? It’s just about criminal that the i7 doesn’t include it with such an obvious need and use case.

Yeah, it’s not like its design (Mercedes) was based on any actual windtunnel testing to improve aerodynamic drag that is the sole largest efficiency loss for any EV. Yeah, definitely virtue signaling. /s

Rising Oil Prices ... Cause Gas Prices to Jump

Seriously, who can call the 996.1 GT3 anything but beautiful?

I can confirm that fact. My dad is an avid detailer and has owned a 986 Boxster S since 2000.

Andy, I will stand with you on the 996 headlights. I believe that the 996.1 is better looking overall than the 996.2 or 997.1. The 997.2 and later are certainly the best of the water-cooled era, but the 996.1 follows close behind in my opinion.

I grew up riding with my brother in the back of a 1985 911 Cabriolet. It can be done for the right age group and roof type.  We enjoyed ever minute of it.  And 911s have gotten substantially bigger in the years since then.
