Bradley, you clearly didn’t engage critical thinking when you started writing this.  A quick glance of the video shows the two poles are about 12-15 feet apart and the “1 duct tape”, “10 duct tape”, etc are clearly referring to individual layers of tape, not entire rolls.  Each layer would probably be around 20 linear

Same, I was just stating that your statement was not accurate.

The Taycan Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo exist and have been sold in the US since 2021.  The ID.7 would (in theory) be the third EV wagon in the US (but sadly I don’t think it is ever coming).

I have a 110 mile per day round trip and have for the past 3 years done it in a Chevy Bolt without issues. I have taken it on several work trips for training and customer visits. I think people drastically overestimate their needs and perceived inconvenience. Additionally, I don’t get the rated range because I drive

Taking the “vapor” in vaporware to new levels. At least Nikola had the guts to make a three dimensional fake vehicle.

Yeah, that huge battery (118 kWh) is about half the size of the Hummer EV / Chevy Silverado EV battery and contains the same amount of energy as 3.5 gallons of gasoline and just knocked out 523 miles on a charge at highway speeds.  Your point?

The only miss with the TSX is the automatic-only transmission and no option for the 6 cylinder.  It is a great car as-is, but either (or both) of those would have really made it spectacular.

Or you could look it up - $0.64 /kWh

I personally put 190k miles on a 2013 Prius before we sold it to one of my wife’s coworkers as a reliable, efficient second car.

I’m surprised to see the Prius all the way down at 25.  Thought it would be higher than that.

Nothing, we already bought two EVs - one affordable (a $26k Bolt) for my long daily commute and a daily/roadtrip for my wife (ID.4). We are also lucky to have a two car detached garage which we ran a new subpanel out to install a couple ClipperCreek 32A EVSEs. I think there are a lot of people out there that could

To say this is more beautiful than a 250 California Spyder is not only wrong, it should be considered a war crime.

Two yutes? What’s a yute?

Regardless of HOW hydrogen is produced it still needs to be compressed, stored, transported, contained and vented - all of which are massive wastes of energy compared to letting the electricity directly drive the vehicles.

ICE hydrogen is beyond stupid.  FCEV is just regular stupid (from both an infrastructure and overall efficiency standpoint).

The Volt was great for electric range, but the fuel economy after the charge was depleted (37 mpg combined) is not great compared to Prius Plug-In (50 mpg) or Prius Prime (52-54 mpg). I think some sacrifices were made in GM’s design when they went with a generator + electric series layout instead of a power-split or
