Yes, but as stated in the article this is a badge-engineered Toyota.

So the FWD version will be the same HP as a Chevy bolt and around 600 lbs heavier? And the AWD version will add a mere 15 hp and put on a lot more weight? This thing better have Hyundai/Kia levels of efficiency (or better), because it is going to feel quite slow compared to almost every EV on the market today.  On

I was 14 years old, my brother gave me the keys to his 1989 VW GTI 16V in a parking lot and I had 6 perfect takeoffs without stalling or roasting the clutch.  The seventh I stalled on and we called it a night.  At 38 years old now I have probably driven a manual less than 1 total hour.  Shameful.

I grew up in Kettering, drove a 1994 Grand Am coupe. Story checks out.

Yeah if we are going to criticize Tesla for panel gaps we definitely need to take a close look at the awkward nature that Pontiac decided to graft on those headlights.

The worst part of the video was the videographer.

whether it is appropriate for CEOs to make $5-250M a year is another discussion.

How many thousands to replace the plastic guides inside that engine?  I love the look of this thing, but I think the $6000 is just a downpayment for the inevitable engine work that will be required in a 22 year old M62.

Irv Gordon’s Volvo P1800. Any other answer is factually and demonstrably incorrect.

Agreed.  But my perception of his objectivity and unbiased analysis is completely gone at this point, regardless if he gets into his lane or not.

1st Gear: Did anyone else see Sandy Munro’s diatribe on Tesla AP chastising anyone questioning them? It basically was a “let the innovate company innovate” and “we are under attack from China’s manufacturing”. I have lost almost all respect for him at this point.

Any article about idiotic license plates is required to at least mention Virginia and the disgusting serif font (the only serif font in the US).

Not true. If that car had been doing 90 it would be ludicrous, however 116 is clearly a plaid level of sanity.

Next week is robotic sharks with freaking laser beams on their heads.

Could not agree more.

Macan does not have a DSG like the VW and Audi equivalents.  It has a PDK. Not sure why you are comparing a Macan to a Q5 for interior room as they are near identical.

I actually saw one of these for sale in a parking lot a block up from my house about 6 months ago. Had to google it, since I didn’t recognize what it was.  It was gone in a week, it was a running car, so likely the nicest on the planet at this point.

Sorry, I meant Trailblazer. All the Chevy CUV/SUVs kinda blend together in appearance and name. I can’t see why anyone would choose a Trax over an Honda HR-V, Toyota C-HR or Mazda CX-3 (along with countless others).

Having gotten one as a loaner (the top LT trim with FWD), the NVH was terrible, the power was beyond underwhelming, the storage was marginally better than my Bolt. All that, for just slightly under the out-the-door price as my Bolt. Even the Traverse I had after it was better, and is certainly a better value at

I’ve said before and I’ll say it again:
