I would love to see the particulate level directly outside a school near dismissal time with a bunch of busses sitting, idling. I would venture to guess OSHA would halt operations if levels were that high in an occupied space at a manufacturing facility. And yet we subject our children to it.

Exactly.  This is the same industry that said tetraethyl lead was the only viable anti-knock compound for decades after it was shown to have deadly affects on it’s producers and consumers.

You assume this car could climb up even the most modest hill.  I can’t imagine that would be the case.

Just noticed yesterday that the 2021 Taycan 4S numbers were posted to fueleconomy.gov.

That’s amazing considering it’s applied to multi-million dollar cars.

Sadly, I have but one star to give.

Now playing

When I read “Bean Dad” I thought of only one person, who is the polar opposite of the human described in the article. Beau Miles is, by all observations, a kind and entertaining man as well as a fantastic husband and father. If you aren’t already subscribed to his channel, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Must be southern redneck, I’ve been around midwest rednecks for decades
(and currently working in rural N KY) and never heard that one.

Seriously, Bob, that description had me in tears at work. Where did you come up with this poetically golden line?

Not related to sound systems, by applicable to stories of schadenfreude and broken windows:

Anyone voting nice price does not understand what “the Porsche market is hot” means.

My go-to is a 50:50 solution of white vinegar and distilled water with a brush as wide as the grout line (concentrate the scrubbing where it is needed). Any effort expended on the adjacent tile is wasted (unless the tiles themselves are dirty) when you are simply trying to brighten between them.  Also, Magic Erasers

They also have a good database under the “Collections” section detailing the rare Porsches (GT3 RS 4.0, Transsyberia, etc) by the individual VINs.

R35 is absolutely snore fest for me.  The recent trend of every Youtuber getting one is downright painful.  I really appreciate the R34 (and to a lesser extent its precessors), but the R35 does absolutely nothing for me.

Starred for accuracy and not ending the sentence in a preposition.  I love me a good sentence containing “for which”.

You remove tires and remount to the wheels each season? That seems like a pain. I have a summer (17") set of wheels and tires as well as a winter set (16") for my Outback XT.

A 962, 924 GTP and 916 2.7 are not dime-a-dozen Porsches.  Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.  However, the Cosmo is very pretty.

1994-1999 Celica GT with the factory wing. Probably helped that the most attractive teacher at my middle school drove one.

Except that in the case of a tie vote in the Senate, the VP casts the tie-breaker.
