Have you actually checked the number to chargers that are install nation wide?

I like the noises too. People complain that they sound fake, but to me it sounds like onboard audio from a Formula E, LMP1-H or Formula 1 hybrid car, and those definitely don’t have fake sound generators attached, it’s just the genuine noise of some electrical equipment.
Stupid Kinja killed my picture, 1983 Porsche 959 Concept
If I can bend the rules a bit, I’ll do a prototype that preceded a later production car:
Waking up on Saturday morning and watching the Carwow drag race is about as routine as brushing my teeth or drinking coffee, and often precedes both. This one was particularly entertaining.
I’ll echo that sentiment too. Two kids here, daily driving a 2013 Prius for 106 miles per day during the week. My wife has a more interesting car than I do (2005 Subaru Outback XT Limited automatic). The other most interesting car we’ve owned was a 2005 Volvo V50 T5 (auto). Responsible decisions and living within your…
I immediately recognized the lede image as the top of the Esses at Mid-Ohio. So many wonderful summer days spent there.
There are certain Porsche models that can more than double in options alone (718 Boxster, 718 Cayman). The Cayenne goes from $68k to $166k (2.44:1)
So, a based model that’s 4 years old and asking probably 80% of MSRP? The used Tesla market is ridiculous. ND
Exactly. Efficiency advantage from compared to ICE counterparts and range advantage when comparing with EVs. With the added bonus of having a built-in electric generator when stationary.
Welcome to the club, you’re in good company.
Honestly, I’d say Camry or Avalon Hybrid, CT200h or Lexus ES Hybrid would be a perfect serene environment for you. They have good 0-20 mph pickup with the hybrid drivetrain and I personally love the lack of NVH at traffic lights when stopped, coasting or light on throttle.
I’m a certified car nut, I’ve driven a Formula SAE car, I’ve ridden in many dozens of Porsches including a 959. Do you know what I drive?
Exactly: caliper clearance, suspension clearance, steering angle, etc makes for a much more involved calculation when you start playing with multiple wheel/tire variables.
Wait, 180 miles a DAY? I thought my 108 miles/day was crazy. Congrats on getting back 31 days per year [minimum] of your life back to not be spent in a soul-sucking commute.
Thank you all for the appreciation. It’s a great way to get out of the greys.
You must drive a Toyota Celiac. I’ve seen several posted on Craigslist recently. The best in gluten-free transportation.
This car must have the most extreme stagger of any production car of all time. Tread width of 225 front and 295 rear is crazy, but the diameters of 17 and 20 are even more outlandish. Put it this way, it has the front wheel and tire size of a 1994 Porsche 968 and the rear of a 2020 Macan Turbo.
Mitsubishi could have swept the podium if only it listed the PHEV as a separate model from the standard ICE version. One thing is definitely true, no one wants the underdog Japanese brands (Nissan and Mitsubishi). It’s hard to believe it’s discounting so heavily and yet staying on lots so long.
It is Bjorn’s data and it clearly shows the Taycan is very nearly as good as the Model S.
