Fortunately motor vehicle laws in the US currently still require brakes and steering to have a mechanical connection to the wheels. Tesla (and some other EV companies) are lobbying to go full fly-by-wire, so the next time this happens could be more interesting.

Exactly, I used to work for GEICO and dealt with execs directly.  He would show up sometimes for company events but it was well known that he didn’t want anything to do with how the business worked at all.

Cops don’t have to stop a crime. The supreme court already let them off the hook. They have no right, i wish he called friends to yell louder at them

Remember kids: only answer yes or no when interacting with cops and don’t make direct eye contact. Anything you say or do will be embellished in their report and supported without question by their chain of command because you are an enemy combatant to them, not a citizen.

They need to learn to park their cars in  a normal parking space, TURN THE ENGINE OFF, and then go in.
