I don't think you actually know what the Streisand effect is.

In principle I agree. It’s the most relevant to them and this is the best option.

All cops are bad. The only question is how they choose to show it. Some do it by shooting family dogs, some show it by choking black people to death on the sidewalk. Some show it by ignoring obvious crimes because it doesn’t offend their personal sensibilities enough. All of them are irredeemable scum.

Probably the opposite.  In small cities and large towns these stores tend to do pretty well because there isn’t much competition geographically adjacent to them.

Gamestop should have gone under when the WSB idiots saved it. It does not deserve to exist in 2022, either as a company or a business model.

Yep. Anyone comparing the car “subprime crisis” to the actual subprime crisis that was had with house loans is completely unmoored from reality. The two markets are not remotely similar. It’s not great, but there’ no big bubble crash coming, no major “bailouts” necessary, and no people being unhoused by this. Wells

Doesn’t work that way. Vaccines reduce the chance significantly. They don’t eliminate it but the doesn’t mean they are “not helpful.”

The show mandates vaccinations for all attendees with no exceptions. Granted some people could have defrauded that but for an enforcer that is extremely unlikely. The vaccines are a major blessing but they are not perfect, especially for someone with comorbidities.

It’s entirely plausible someone defrauded the clearance process but a “lazy person working the door” would have gone unchecked for minutes at most.

As if the opinion of someone who apparently can’t read basic articles matters

I don’t need whatever IQ points you've had deducted *from* you thanks

Imagine being both this lazy and stupid.

Don’t mistake this as a defense of him, but I doubt he is more than tangentially aware that these dealerships even exists, much less sets or even guides their policies. He and Berkshire Hathaway push holdings around so much as a portfolio shifting exercise that I doubt you can even get from the highest person in the

The most shocking thing about this is that Nissan still has customers that aren’t rental fleets.

most left leaning parties cannot get or keep their shit together

Ranked choice voting would be the start to fixing a lot of problems with our political system and probably kill our 2 party dichotomy, increasing the need to do things like build coalitions. Unfortunately for that reason I don’t see it ever happening in the US at the national level. Both Democrats and Republicans see

It’s punitive for the companies leasing them out but the Russian airlines and Russia itself gain almost nothing from this.  There is no foreseeable scenario where these planes will be allowed to land anywhere outside of Russia, a couple eastern bloc countries, and possibly china without being seized.   Not even

I agree. Shifting the scope of enforcement is always bad and just creates legal nightmares for people who don’t fit this guy’s niche case trying to figure out case law.

The county has no authority over those things.
