I’m now imagining myself showing up at the Prime Minister’s house and demanding I have my wedding pictures done in the backyard

My best friend and I joke about how we don’t like enough people for a huge wedding party but 39 people is insane, that just takes the cake

She’s also an ordained minister, now. So, you know, a person of high (though clearly not unimpeachable) morals.

A few of my friends have had interactions with him and all have said he was coked up and an asshole. Not saying that equals rapist but he does not seem like a good person.

This is horrifying, but it’s odd that she was tired enough to fall asleep someplace that uncomfortable, and I wonder if the boyfriend’s enablement went so far as to intoxicate her with alcohol or drugs.

her 39-person bridal party

good news Kim Davis has been arrested, you would never ever guess for what!!!!

There are plenty of sinister motivations to wrongfully accuse people of crimes they did not commit: Getting the upper hand in a custody battle. Revenge. Blackmail. Like with every other accusation of criminal wrongdoing, due process has to be followed. Every case is different and must be judged on its own merits.

His denial is totally unconvincing anyway. (Virtually all rape denials are unconvincing, of course, but I’m pretty sure that’s just because virtually all rape denials are lies, given the factors you discussed.) Someone who really didn’t know this woman and hadn’t ever committed any form of sexual assault wouldn’t

Also, the consequences you mention for women saying they were raped still happen even when they’re telling truth. =( But like really, do people not realize that this is why rape survivors do not make their accusations lightly?

Total douche (at best). I wish I could find it now, but I once saw a picture of him leaving a club where the coke was actually falling out of his nose.

The way people get so bumfuzzled about the “he said/she said” nature of some sexual assaults is mind boggling to me. It’s as if the listener, for the time and space of hearing the sexual assault story only, utterly loses all sense of risk, motivation, and consequences. What possible motivation would a woman have to

Based on her account, I would bet good money the producer “boyfriend” knew exactly what he was doing by bringing her there and not going along when she wanted to leave. Feels like he might have brought him women before (or others had) and he knew the drill.

Ed Westwick once stole my glasses at a party then forcibly “kissed” me as “payment.” I told him to fuck off and asked for my glasses back. Pretty sure homie was coked out of his mind and kept slipping the DJ (my boyfriend at the time) money to play “his requests.” DOUCHE.

Except she says the producer is her ex boyfriend. And also he is/was friends with Ed Westwick.

Bad facial hair, check.

This quote from Emily Dickinson has always rung true for me. “Behavior is what a man does, not what he thinks, feels, or believes.”

It’s unfortunate that the Weinsteins exist. The Dustin Hoffmans of the world can easily say, well, I’m no Harvey Weinstein. That’s not enough.

Like, if they don’t actually think the words “what a fucking cunt” they are okay.
