Nah pretty sure we’ll be reminiscing about when we still had electricity and most of our limbs.

This is why Republicans always get into trouble when they try and cut budgets, simply because most of their base is dependent on government programs (especially Medicare and Social Security). So screaming about wasteful government elects them but once the rubes that voted them in realize they were talking about them…
“Dispose”?
Doesn’t everyone just hoard their old drives in a giant pile, like Smaug? Or is that just me?
The problem is clearly with the leaders and communicators. They need to come up with better phrasing than “Cutting Federal Funds to...” or “defunding...”. Something like “blocking insurance payments to...” would be much more informative and useful.
In facebook comment threads, there are plenty of people pointing out that Medicaid reimbursements are what Planned Parenthood receives, along with hospitals and doctors who do not face this “defunding” idiocy.
Though you’re correct that it seems that not enough Democratic politicians and leaders along with other…
And then there’s Mississippi. I’m convinced that Conservatives want to turn the US into a giant Mississippi.
I think a large part of the problem is that people think the government funds Planned Parenthood via a bunch of grants and similar nebulous payments. That’s probably somewhere in Leviticus. Always read the fine print.
Oh, the Protestants also believe in confession of sins. They just skip the middleman and discuss it directly with the Big Boss. It’s easier to get to repentance that way, too.
Or in the words of Christ
People, like Garland, run around shrieking about the “War on Christianity” and “being victimized” when it’s really that society is tired of cowardly assholes who hide behind Christianity. I don’t have any problems with that religion. My problem is with garbage people who use it to justify/validate the shitty things…

Blessed are the rape cover-uppers, for they shall dominate Division 1 sports.
Only God and a federal court and the court of appeals, can judge me.
