Yeah, I’m seeing a lot of 30 year olds doing the “Lol, I’m so old now, I can barely stay up past midnight anymore” thing.

Stop it.  You don’t even know yet.

If they wait long enough, AI will be able to write all the scripts for them.

I got a Bananarama notification for this?

I remember trying to listen to Folklore when it came out because it seemed like she was really influenced by the look and sound of musicians on the Sacred Bones label (or 4AD, sure) but it was totally unmemorable to me.

I tried to watch both shows and they just weren’t for me - they’re skewed too young. Now, that’s perfectly fine. I think Star Wars SHOULD be primarily for kids. Further, the kids that watched these shows when they were new are now in their 20s so this is perfect for them.
But for me, it’s making it more difficult to

They didn’t even pronounce it “Latin-equis”.  They didn’t think their cunning plan all the way through.

Right? It almost looks like a parody of superhero cliches.

Strange women in ponds, etc.

Remember, Captain Power’s gimmick was that it was interactive.  Surely they can figure out a way to do that with more modern technology, create something halfway between a movie or show and a video game.

Flashbacks to 1989 when Batman was a hit.
“Kids love these comic strip movies - quick, greenlight Dick Tracy, The Phantom, and Brenda Starr!”

Yeah, I’m a Grimes fan. I like all her records.
She’s not a smart one, though.

I understood that reference!

Needs more Martin.

I hope Cage somehow gets a chance to play Dracula in a better movie.  He somehow managed to be scary and campy at the same time, it’s amazing.

That was not a very good movie so most of it has dropped from my memory.

I did the same thing.
When did he become the heavy?
2001.

Yeah, there was a trend where Hollywood suits didn’t understand that Batman’s appeal is based on more than the fact that he was in a comic so they greenlit stuff like Brenda Starr and The Phantom (those same suits also not understanding the difference between comic strips and comic books).

The first one was built on the back of the show - Peter Graves wouldn’t come back because he didn’t like the reveal that his character had turned evil, so they got Jon Voight.
The difference is, unlike most of the reboots of ‘60s and ‘70s shows, Cruise has enough star power to allow the franchise to live in independent

It’s mentioned in the catch-all entry for Batman related appearances.

They should bring back Superman peanut butter.
