I mean, it absolutely is the future. Any realistic person can see that. Stadia sucked for a bunch of other reasons.

Maybe it’s greedy, but it’s definitely the future and not dumb. The way Google did it is dumb, because they don’t have any first party library--Stadia makes no sense compared to Xbox X Cloud for example. But once latency is resolved (and it will be for many in the next decade) it becomes a very viable way to play

The sad thing is the tech behind it is super impressive. They should just be licensing that out to others.

You know what is shocking - a full refund on the hardware and the games. That is actually pretty impressive of Google to do that. I feel most companies would have just killed it and moved on.

the article preps up the process like is some high quality stuff and then at 10:39 they show them cutting corners. Shameful

It’s truly hard for me to imagine looking at a world full of busy people going about their lives and think that something’s wrong with them because they’re not paying more attention to me.

Passive income is certainly not applicable for someone who needs all available cash to make ends meet, no disagreement there. Also agree I didn’t have $10K sitting at 18 lol that admittedly wasn’t a helpful example.

That’s just not very high, tbh. Denver is at 5,280 and the lowest of the ‘high altitude’ towns. If you’re thinking ski vacation Crested Butte ski area starts at 9,300 and goes up from there. I promise you’ll be sucking wind darn quick.

3 or 4,000 feet is hardly “altitude.”

I suppose you could also just use QR code generator websites to make your own QR codes and print them on labels. It would allow a lot of info in a small space.

Or you could just write your name and contact information on a sticker

I’m surprised that they don’t just give these away (or at cost of shipping) just to get people to d/l and use their app, get into their ecosystem.

I thought this was common knowledge for the last 10 years? Are people still using these?

That Dr. Disrespect video is possibly the stupidest video game cutscene I’ve ever seen. It feels like it exists to be made fun of, like one of those short films they put on MST3K which you can’t believe were made without irony.

Thank you for this.

I wouldn’t go that far. Dishonest and untrustworthy sure, still it’s hard to feel any sympathy for the companies he broke his legal agreements with. Ubisoft and their 67 new AC games can fuck right off.

Good luck!!! Now you can sim how the 95 bulls would have done against the 95 rockets. Clyde could finally get his revenge.

People aren’t really judging them though, it’s similar to when they say “Oh, the homeless are happier on the streets” or “The people begging are actually part of a network and make millions” or “This relief bill has too much overhead in it”. They are trying to justify not giving/voting in favor of spending to help.

I’ve played 2K basketball every year, but haven’t bought it in a long time. I’d rent or wait until it was available on something like Game Pass. Play it for a weekend, and forget about it.”

One could get a mulching mower and never even bother raking them up in the first place. I have 2 dozen large trees (12-40 in diameter, silver maple, ash, elm, basswood, hackberry etc.) in my yard and have not raked a single leaf in 15+ years. Where there is enough sun for grass, the grass is fine and grows well. No
