“A Rush Of Blood To The Head,” notable for being the last good Coldplay album.

The Libertines’ “Up the Bracket” is goddamn joyful. I love that album. Also, “You Forgot it in People” is perfect, from beginning to end.

Ja Rule was like the radio version of Saw movies at the time... he was there whether you liked it or not.

They know Turn on the Bright Lights came out in 2002, right? Literally any song on that album could be slotted on here

I can’t wait to see what happens today when Ryan Seacrest is on the red carpet. There’s literally no way for it not to end up being a shitshow.

Blade Runner 2049 should win everything.

I’ve been saying Jennifer Lawrence was robbed for at least a nomination since they were announced! Glad to see someone after my own heart.

Fury Road was robbed. Spotlight was good and all, but it didn’t have a single character named the Bullet Farmer.

Yeah, 2011 would be my go-to year. It’s funny how thoroughly King’s Speech has been forgotten about, though.

I know Inception is just the popular blockbuster that got in, but it’s imminently more enjoyable than watching a movie about a king being nervous about addressing his people.

I always felt the 2011 Oscars had a fantastic lineup with the most frustrating outcome.
Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit, Winter’s Bone, the Fighter, Black Swan, 127 Hours, Inception, and The Kids Are Alright.
What won over all those awards?
The King’s Speech. It won Best Director over David Fincher and Darren

1977 was one of the all time great movie years. It was the summer of Star Wars, of course, but that year also brought us Annie Hall and Saturday Night Fever. If you were looking for lighter fare, there was Oh, God, Greased Lightning, and The Goodbye Girl, plus Roger Moore’s best Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me. For

Michael Bay. And given his neanderthal approach to female characters in his films, I can’t believe he doesn’t have some allegations against him. No way he’s clean.

Eli Roth is number two on my wishlist of directors whose careers I hope get utterly crushed by allegations.

I don’t know any “mainstream” director who has made more films I find repellent than Roth.”

I was thinking that there must be something Roth has directed that I liked, but after looking through his bio I can safely say that is not the case. And while the original’s director, Michael Winner, made his fair share of loathsome entertainments, I don’t know any “mainstream” director who has made more films I find

Here, have an incredibly reluctant upvote.

You know I don’t usually go for Punisher (I think he’s morally abhorrent and works best when he’s portrayed as a villain), but I think putting him up against other black ops military types made the whole thing a lot more easy to digest than if he was running around and killing random thugs on the street.

AMC put this trailer in front of Black Panther and I have never seen an audience turn so hostile so quickly

They should postpone this movie until it’s been, say, six months since the last U.S. gun massacre, thus assuring that it would never, ever be released.
