I read somewhere that conservatives are obsessed with the idea of authority and control because that’s how their parents treated them as kids, whereas liberals encourage critical thinking and unconditional love. Mr. Generic White Fox Commentator totally proves that point.

If I had a kid who was smart enough to hold their own in a debate with a US senator I’d be pretty damn proud. It really takes an authoritarian mindset to not see any circumstance under which that might be a good thing.
