“Linger” and “Dreams” are perfect pop song. RIP.

Hey, he’s just looking for something else to get him through this Semi-Charmed kind of Life.

This actually looks much better than I anticipated.

2018 off to a great start!

Variety said this was the best Netflix movie yet, which is stunning in a year that Netflix released Mudbound and Okja.

From reviews and ads it almost seems like it turns into a sort of “white savior” movie halfway through? I’m a big enough fan of Payne and the cast to maybe see it, just not in theaters.

The Good Doctor was actually really great.

I’m not a fan of most superhero movies, but against all odds Wonder Woman was one of the few movies released this year that actually made me cry.

A great year for movies, with many (like Three Billboards, The Last Jedi, Lady Bird, etc) I have yet to see, but I plan to rectify some of those this week. As it stands now, my top ten list is:

I always admired him and thought he was one of the good guys. Shows how little I know, what a horrible and disgusting man.

I’m not sure what he could really do for the story now, but here’s hoping he functions like Craig Robinson’s character in Season 2, a villain only for about half the season before the show focuses on other things.

This show always gives us transcendent moments (Elliot pressing Enter set to a beautifully soaring M83 song) only to have them be brutally taken away from us.

Then the pig says “My wife is a slut.”

It had some great songs but the overall album was lacking.

1. There Will Be Blood

As You Were > Who Built The Moon.

1. LCD Soundsystem - American Dream 2. Kendrick Lamar - DAMN. 3. I’m gonna cheat and put both Saturation I and II by BROCKHAMPTON here 4. The National - Sleep Well Beast 5. Wolf Alice - Visions of A Life 6. St. Vincent - Masseduction 7. Alvvays - Antisocialites 8. Feist - Pleasure 9. Lorde - Melodrama 10. The Jesus

Surprised to see LCD Soundsystem last, thats my number one pick.

Yeah, but did any of them write “Blank Space”? Advantage Taylor.

This movie is so special, I’ve already exhausted myself singing its praises to anyone who’ll listen. Movies like this that work so brilliantly as both an action film and a genuine piece of art are so rare.
