Unpopular Opinion: I actually liked Last Man Standing. I think it’s because Mike and his wife are very much like my parents and I could relate to his two older daughters. The youngest daughter reminded me of my younger brother. So it was sort of like watching my life, but if it were a comedy.

Yeah. Guys like Allen desperately want to believe everything they do is vehemently protested by snowflake liberals who desperately want to silence everything conservative. That they are barely surviving against the odds in the face of headwinds produced by cuck liberals who are triggered by everything. When the fact

It’s the same thing with Christians trying to pretend they’re majority and the minority at the same time...they want everyone to follow along with them because they’re the majority religion, but then talk about how they’re the most persecuted religion in the US.

Tim, as a man I have to say this: Your show was not at all funny. The fact that it made it one season, much less six, means ABC cut you a lot more slack than most series.

It’s funny how people who are so into the free market get mad when capitalism runs its course. The market has spoken, Tim. It didn’t like you.

Ugh, Tim Allen is the definition of a mediocre white man succeeding for no reason. He went to jail for a relatively short time for drug trafficking and then got roles on television as a FAMILY MAN. He is absolutely not a victim here, what black person do you know with his background would ever wind up getting the

And Ron Swanson.

I was very surprised to read that it lasted 6 seasons! I had never heard of it until last week when my mom told me she was watching a rerun at the gym. She did say it’s so funny, but it’s conservative, so it got cancelled.

I used to watch Home Improvement. It wasn’t ‘must see TV’ but it was ok. I watched Last Man Standing a few times, and it was bad. He should be happy it made it six years.

Or maybe Tim it was just too expensive, I’m guessing because you pumped up your salary to the point where they couldn’t afford it anymore.

But there is nothing more dangerous, especially in this climate, than a funny, likable conservative character

Wasn’t Tim Allen’s show on Friday night, where bad tv goes to die? I occasionally caught a few minutes of it, it was not good. Nancy Travis and Hector Elizondo deserved better than a show with a laugh track.

Almost every conservative I have ever met is a whiny little bitch. Hollywood goes where there is money to be made. They do not care if it’s liberal or conservative money. Money is money.

I will never cease to be amazed by the way conservative figures, in politics, entertainment or otherwise, can play the “I’m just too dangerous and edgy for people to accept” when republicans hold both houses of Congress and there’s a nominally republican president in the White House.

Didn’t mention that he paid for that ticket with money he earned from exploiting free labor. And also had a chuckle with the cop.

God it’s like the only bar you have to pass in order to become a talking head on Fox is answer “no” to the question “do you know what a fase equivalency is?”

Same in my house (6 and 8-year-olds). It’s more of a struggle to get them out of the bath (or shower, which the 8-year-old recently switched to).

I think maybe Shep can identify some prominent closeted republican figures, I think otherwise he’d have been dropped by Fox the minute he was outed unambiguously.

Shep Smith and Chris Wallace. You can tell they’re conservative, and we probably don’t agree with them on most issues, but it’s pretty obvious that they’re at least sane and rational(ish) human beings.

Shep Smith has often stood out as the closest thing FOX news has to a decent human being. I often ask how it is that he hasn’t been let go by the network, and the answer I always get is that he knows where a significant number of bodies are buried.
