You are not wrong, although I’d argue Phantom Menace changed film more than any other Star Wars movie. The movie itself is trash but what Lucas did with digital production lead the way to every other tentpole movie and even TV shows.

Also fertilizer.

I initially read this headline with Amazon meaning the corporation.  Bezos is winning.

Secretly?

He was holding that card and decided to play at just that moment.  Pretty wild.

Step 1: Defund an agency

brutal.

I actually really liked the first season; I lovingly call it is his trash can of ideas because they were concepts that Jonathan Nolan had for features but never wrote out a full movie script for.

I think the slow pace of Person of Interest allowed the show to be able to sprinkle in the high concepts. By episode count West World is five episodes into the second of Person of Interest which was when PoI just started hitting its stride. The really interesting stuff doesn’t even start happening until episode 56.

Namely: For 30+ hours the scale is kept very ground level. We’re fighting a generic evil corporation, that seemingly only wishes to do generic evil things. With the exception of Sephiroth (who doesn’t do anything for 95% of the game) our actual antagonists are corporate suits, gangsters, robots and the occasional

They’ve been using this system for a while, and Lily is the only person in the world, the universe, who’s ever made a choice that violates the prediction?

Please do

If they hadn’t shown all the other branch visuals I would say it simply that all of the other people that viewed the future were deterministic acolytes so they didn’t verge off the predicted branch path.

I do get that he thought Devs needed to be destroyed, but to murder an innocent along with Forest to do it felt like a big leap given what we know about him.

Depends on your definition of “worst.” By production value definitely a top show.

2, 4, 5 all seem a little wasteful. I am not convinced that Mando saved baby Yoda because he felt a connection with him but rather, he couldn’t morally leave him with the client.

Rebels too, but this show is much more expensive and only 8 episodes, dude needs to trim the fat.

I am glad you had the self restraint not to watch.  I also expected a shit show and sure enough...

And Jaime ruining his character arc in his chat with Tyrion.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms kind of lost a lot of value by everyone surviving.  I’d honestly rather Briene die in front of the crypts gate then get the shit ending they gave her.
