There wasn’t much of an internet back then so no.

Agreed! The big tragedy of it all is that if Ned had just confided in his wife about the identity of Jon’s mother (something she was also rightfully pissed about) she would have probably been a great mom to him.
The rain before hand; the constant banging of drums. GRRM kept sending her signals to put on some damn plot armor.
I don’t think the show could really do this any other way (especially with only 6 episodes left). The books still have lots of directions it could go. The threat of the Others has to peak still but there are lots of places for that to go with lots of characters, also time can jump beyond current events which the show…
I want an entire series based on the GoT lip reading dub where the show is actually just a medieval fair.
The whole premise behind the truce was dumb. There was a very low chance the Lannisters would take that deal even with evidence. At the same time, Dany and Jon didn’t really need to worry about a Lannister offensive because her fleet is safe as long as the dragons are with them and they would be relatively safe north…
I really like the Arianna stuff merging with the fAegon stuff in the WoW sample chapters. The show put way more emphasis on the Tyrells (do to GREAT casting) than GRRM, I doubt they will be mercilessly cut from the story but stay in the background as supporting characters.
But Varys went to Westeros before (F)Aegon, that just never made sense to me. Maybe he is doing this all for Illyrio? I think the time line with Serra is shaky but it could be they were doing it for her, she died, then they decided to continue on with the conspiracy with (F)Aegon?
Ohhhhh true. Show Varys is definitely a eunuch! Actually I think George would have vetoed that scene because he was still involved back then so I’d guess book is too.
Do we know if he is actually a eunuch or that is just what the spy master tells everyone?
He’s a Blackfyre, it is known.
I think you meant Viserys in the last comment not Rhaegar (no judgement, just helping your argument).
Show Dany is a ruthless conquerer/totalitarian dictator in the show and fairly bad at justice but the camera is on her so she is a good guy. She just feels guilty sometimes so she waivers; all the nuance from the book is gone.
After rewatching, yes: worse than season 5 was D&D immediately killing him in season 6.
Me either... had to be future Bran.
Super tinfoily... it was future Bran setting up the events.
Teleportation is blood magic that has grown stronger as the dragons have grown larger.
If our commander and chief don’t need “proof” or “facts” or “evidence” then why do I?
Many I believe are duped.
Exactly. He is a cancer.
