A lot of straight dudes have craaaaazy expectations (e.g., Kate Upton is a fattie).
She had this great post on her tumblr (http://courtneymilan.tumblr.com) in answer to a reader question that I found really thought provoking:
I love UD eyeshadows like none other, and those palettes give you a huge variety... Of nude looks. So if you do a lot of "natural" makeup and off-black smokey eyes, those kits are DEFINITELY FOR YOU. If, like me, you love having a million colors around just for the sake of it (I am like Smaug on my makeup hoard, I…
TOTALLY worth it! I got mine for Xmas and I love it so so so much! Seriously, the quality beats MAC eyeshadows, in my opinion, they are just so pigmented and are really easy to blend.
I aspire to that eyebrow game! Totally getting the Benefit kit and the MAC small angle brush.
You only get one sex scene for 0.99, you know.
She looks amazing still! That's the silliest thing about the bad PS.
"Oooh, blurry orange makeup palette. SELECT!"
That was in response to the film critic who just yesterday posted a long piece saying she is too "chubby" and "not conventionally attractive" to star as a romantic lead.
RIP, Steve. :(
I read the $0.99 prequel to the Brothers Sinister series. Strong-willed, educated heroine falls for a self-made middle class man because he's kind and makes her feel safe. *Swoon* Oh and the sex scene was hot.
I <3 Courtney Milan and I <3 Stephanie Laurens. If I see either of their new books at Walgreens I know I'm going to be opening my wallet and canceling my plans for the day. Woohoo for strong, smart women characters!
I haven't read Trade Me yet (my kobo died, goddamn it), but I've read most of her other books. I thoroughly enjoy them and her attention to history. She has a couple that tackle mental illness in the mid-Victorian era, which are simply outstanding for so many reasons.
I hate Courtney* because some of her books have made me cry and she's evil.
*I actually adore her and will give her all of my money.
Me too. I have 10 shades that range everywhere from greyish-purple to purplish-grey. Possibly more ridiculous is the number of polishes I have that are slightly not-black in various hues
I prefer your version.
Yes- they have just won the annual Will/Jada award for overcompensation in oversharing in a bearding relationship.
