If you’re going to modify something, at least do some kind of homage to the brand’s history or legacy - FFS why not make this an XR custom? Harley isn’t about Cafe Racers, but the XR is the winning-est bike they made, this would look awesome with high pipes and a number plate. SMH

Cool, thanks!

Thanks! That was a question the article didn’t address - as I understand it aluminum airframes can only be used for so long before *something technical* and then they have to be replaced.

Agreed, $6500 would be NP if it was without issue.

I’m not the only person who dreams of throwing idling cars keys into storm drains!!!!

100% +1 this!!

I LOL’d at this comment, thanks for the chuckle. You deserve more stars.

That means every day is your birthday now. You are 105 000 years old it seems!

Neutral - I remember Ryan’s article, it was a great piece (seems like 100 years ago, around the time that whippersnapper German got what he deserved for speeding...)

That dash! I forgot how amazing those 80's GM button dashboards were, I used to look in parking lots for the most button-filled cars. My dad’s Pontiac 6000 had the most of any car we owned.

I see your Letterkenny reference.

this!

seriously, someone is about to lose their Jalop card JUSTIN

this, sadly, is the correct take.

Cooool, I remember seeing a brochure for that car back in the day. A rare bird indeed.

If my ancient VW lore is still intact, those are forged wheels, which was another neat feature on that sweet longroof. Back in they day they were sought after OEM+ mods on other VW’s.

yeah, this.

Am Canadian, can confirm.

Nothing says emotional maturity like pointing out how much more mature you are than someone else.

Sex work is real work. No different than any other side gig.
