I say we normalize looking sharp af.... cause yeah. DAMN a crisp suit does look good.
For some context here: New York also previously offered to integrate their subway system with New Jersey’s, and New Jersey refused to do that too, which is why you have to take one metro from New Jersey to New York, cross a big ass lobby, then use a different pass to board another metro. Or you can do the same thing…
I would question on what legal basis the Feds have for forcing NYC to remove their tolls, then I remembered that “legal basis” plays no part in decisions anymore. This could result in anything from a stern letter of “we said STOP IT!” to actual troops in the streets-type shit. Literally anything.
And I appreciate the air-quotes on “objective” there because lately the Right thinks that means their lies need to be given equal time with the truth. And it’s not our fault Trump can’t open his mouth without lying.
I went NP because I think this is within negotiating distance. It appears to be in good condition, but I’d like to see under those seat covers.
If only there were already some way for normal trains to go over water
Yep. 100% “SEE HOW BADASS I AM (please don’t laugh at me)?!”
I always figured these were just the equivalent of truck nuts for semi drivers. Now I know that...well, they’re only 95% equivalent to truck nuts.
It’s what Republicans do. They twice tried to tariff their way to prosperity exactly 100 years ago, and it famously didn’t really work out.
Republicans are - I think the term is “showing their asses?” - on this Tariff thing. Tariffs represent everything they’ve spent the last decade decrying:
Economist Simon Johnson dubbed the fallout from 2008 a quiet coup. He was spot on.
Except the super rich. An economic collapse is the fastest and most efficient way to take away wealth from the working class give it to the billionaire class.
“What are we gonna do tonight, Brain?”
Exactly. It really is that simple.
Damn, so Chinese EVs are affordable because the country’s government invested in making clean transport accessible to its citizens? How evil. I’m so glad we don’t do that here, outside of the billions in subsidies for EV retooling (https://www.energy.gov/articles/biden-harris-administration-announces-nearly-2-billion-s…
Make it a performance truck and call it the NSX T-Rex just to troll the Raptor crowd.
They should release the Ridgeline as the Acura NSX just to fully mess with people.
