I never had a problem with Dickies waists, but other parts of the fit were uncomfortable, so I was never quite in style with my skater/pop punk friends in the early 00s.

I grew up in CA eating at about 5:30pm most nights. Until the last year, that was true at home with my wife and kids in Texas. Once I started going tot he gym after work and my kids started their own evening activities, dinner has settled to start sometime around 6:20pm. I’m becoming average.

Sounds like a good one to me! I’d suspect material density and the distribution of weight across the hand is a factor as well—less weight farther away feels heavy in a way that more weight closer doesn’t, even if it’s the same net load on a given point.

Some of this also has to come from measurement error, right? Hands connect to wrists and then forearms. What we identify as the hands by sight and touch might map differently when you’re dealing with weight and muscle/joint/tendon engagement.

This might be the first movie in a while that my whole household could see together - my son and my wife think the art style is interesting and my daughter and I are just TMNT fans. I’m genuinely looking forward to this...I think.

He’s been talking about his relapse, recovery, and a lot of other things very candidly on his podcast Tiger Belly over the last few years...

Texas Roadhouse is a decent place to go with the family when you don’t mind spending a little more than you would in other places but you’re not trying to spend $100 on one meal out. Plus, you know, free bread with cinnamon butter and peanuts.

Since my earlier comment, I’ve learned this is no isolated incident. Apparently Lambert has done this kind of thing a lot and in many venues. It does put a sour note on it. I don’t think she was so wrong in this moment, but people aren’t always going to give you all their attention or respond to the show in the way

I think there’s a spectrum depending on when and where you are drive-eating. A Sunday afternoon drive with the kids in the suburbs or more open areas can be nice with an ice cream cone, but I wouldn’t’ want to try to eat and drive during rush hour in a big city I’m in for the first time.

Bad timing for a selfie, being mid-ballad in a smaller venue. If she’s an influencer, that makes that kind of photo op make more sense, but I suspect her and her friends wouldn’t have been front row if they weren’t influencers, which is sort of a disservice to bigger fans of Lambert’s. Artists can definitely throw

I almost never side with the fans but this has big PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEE energy from Lambert.”

I’ve had this weird question for a while about the politics of climate science: Al Gore was a Democrat and lost a controversial presidential election. Then, he became the spokesperson for climate change for a bit. How much does his involvement with the film “An Inconvenient Truthat that time impact the

Thank you for posting some actual life hacks!

So neither the government nor the press trust the public to sift the information, the public doesn’t trust the government nor the press to give the information, and the credibility of non-government and non-press experts has been undermined by some bad actors among the experts, the government, and the press.

As long as they don’t abandon the classic, it’s ok to branch out. I just hope it doesn’t get as ridiculous and overblown as the gourmet burger fad.

It’s a no-win situation for them. First of all, someone died, which is always tragic. Somewhere down the line, it happened on their watch. If he didn’t violate any rules, they need better rules and will be fined for it. If he did violate rules, they need better rule enforcement and will be fined for it. If there was a

I’m not one to defend Mayer (he’s a good guitar player and stuff but I’m not a big fan overall), so take this from a relative normie here: I don’t know of any celebrities or otherwise successful people who don’t care what people say about them on the Internet. Some of them say “I can’t care about it,” meaning they

Trump was pro-vax but not so much his followers, so sometimes people with cults around them can’t always steer the ship how they’d like...

Those pics will probably become AI-generated extras in future productions and I hate it.

It’s not the worst analogy if you’re just talking about power on Reddit, but it’s not the right one to use when the issue is literal money.
