If you go onto the Reddit app, it pops up when you go to “News,” if I recall where I saw it. I haven’t been active (no posts/comments or even trawling for good posts to read) on there since the ban, but I look maybe once per day to see any developments in the situation.

I hope this works out well for them. I know the union aspect of the thing is distasteful to many, but it kind of sounds like the company might not have been able to afford it? I don’t know. Regardless, maybe being part of a larger conglomerate that respects the brand means more Moog in the marketplace. The sounds are

These restaurants really nailed the vibe of fathers’ day gifts when they came up with these deals. They truly are the “world’s greatest dad” mini-toolbox shaped like a hammer of holiday promotions.

I said “kinda.” :)

There’s something to be said for not giving in when they’re already there, though.

I’m kinda proud of Gen Z for this one. I don’t want live performance venues to suffer, but I also want people to make healthy choices.

Joel McHale, then?

Now that both shows have ended, it’s time for Barry and Ted Lasso to end up sitting next to each other on an airplane or something on SNL. Or maybe a story where Ted replaces Fuches. Perhaps Beard uses connections from a prior life to hire Barry to take out Nathan in an alternate timeline of the Lassoverse. Or somethin

As I understand its use, the idea of the “woke mob” is the idea that there is a group of people who are using the ethic of defending the marginalized as a weapon against anyone who disagrees with or whose actions come into any conflict with their views. It’s an idea that the past is being judged by anachronistic

This is probably weird and will sound wrong, but I think we’ve been in an era of deconstruction and this is what it looks like when someone attempts reconstruction. How do you categorize behavior? How do you respond? If you have to pit you ethics against each other, which one wins? It’s not so simple if the structure

That was a nice read. A guy whose career took him in directions he might not have chosen initially, but he was open. And he’s enjoying life. It’s good to read this kind of thing. I’m tired of talk about how much so many things suck. Show me what’s good.

Why not Vandenberg in California, though? Too many strategic targets in one place?

But did anyone learn how to make a sandwich?

I think it’s a plausibility thing for a jury. Without seeing what we got to see, all they have is: Failed Abusive Actor With Chechen Drug Money Kills Cop Girlfriend, Blames Then Kills Vet With PTSD. Why would they believe Gene? And would they even believe Barry were he able to confess, given Jim’s likely testimony?

I think the ending is right. Barry dies as he is about to turn himself in, maybe, forever putting and end to his “starting...now” self-deception. Fuches hands John over to Barry and makes it look like he’s doing Barry a favor. While he’s apparently on about a theme of tearing down facades, which definitely happens and

I agree that the show (and Sarah Goldberg’s performance) do a great job of leaving space for compassion for her character despite her selfishness. That’s why I’m hoping she can escape herself. She’s so broken; I want her to find her resilience again, but for someone else’s sake this time.

I think Sally and Gene will both have tough choices to make. They’re somewhat similar characters in their need for the spotlight and self-centeredness that overshadows parental bonds with their kids. I think Gene wants what’s good for others but can’t overcome his addiction to adulation and acting. I think Sally

I doubt it’s a problem at the school her daughter goes to given their family’s economic status, but sending extra food is a way to try to provide discretely for kids who are embarrassed that they don’t have enough or have a crappy lunch. Sometimes excess is actually just making sure your cup runs over in a way so

I got the prompt today. Thankfully it worked fine from the start, but why bother with a whole new app? I guess I need to delete HBO Max and keep Max now? Seems strange given I mainly use it to watch Barry.

I didn’t think about it that deeply nor did I know any of that! Thanks!
