BTW, “giving all the profits” means that if they pay 1000 dollars for 100 shirts and then pay themselves 1000 for graphic design and 1000 for administrative costs and sell them for 32 dollars, “all the profits” would be 2 dollars per shirt. And that they could only have profits after selling shirt number 94.
So

Right, I remember when i first heard about the “safety pin solidarity” thing, I was like “Cool, I can do that, I want to show support,” but then right away there was a counter-response from many different groups of people about it being a hollow gesture, which I hadn’t considered, and the more I read about it from

Have you tried NOT reading it? When you see her byline you could just not click on the article. I don’t understand why you and the likes of Dwayne would rather show up to express how insulted you are instead of reading and commenting on other articles that might be more to your taste. There’s always an article about a

How else would people know?

I didn’t realize that I’ve had a clothing line since 1996 when I first found out about ink-jet t-shirt iron ons. I have quite an extensive collection in my line! How exciting, I should add this to my LinkedIn.

I usually just walk around shouting “I’m white goddamn it!” I guess that would solve my problem.

My mistake; I thought you might be rational for a minute there. If you honestly believe you’ve worked for everything you have and you see no connection between your life and your culture’s brutality, there’s nothing I can say to change that. Your issue is psychological, not informational. Oh, and I’m not pissed at

The anxiety, depression, and moments of sheer panic I’ve experienced since the election are totally new to my middle-class white life. The slap in the face all thinking persons were dealt last November was, for me, also a wake-up call to recognize my own biases and privilege.

Or maybe just wear a fucking shirt that says “not my president”( and do some boots-on-the-ground work) instead of being all namby, pamby, passive-aggressive about your true stance?

Heeeey, bitches........let’s go do some shots!

great, now i have to make a shirt that says “im not friends with the white women who made a shirt to say that they are a white woman who didn’t vote for trump” and i don’t think i’ll have enough room :(

OR ONE OF THE MANY HILLARY CLINTON SHIRTS YOU ALREADY KNOW THEY OWN!

White women who want to broadcast their politics (in addition to actually taking action, ahem) could also just wear a t-shirt from Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, Amnesty, SPLC, CAIR, BLM, NOW, NPR, DNC ... the possibilities are endless. Just anything at all besides almost literally #notallwhitewomen.

Alcohol and drugs will ruin your skin. Not enough La Mer in the world to remedy that.

“I don’t mean to judge”

I worked retail at Old Navy and Gap. Half the time the security tags never set off the alarm.  Returned items usually didn’t have them either. They were easy to deactivate too and pretty much useless. A manager once told me they were more of a deterrent to potential thieves than anything else.

It’s not a zero sum game. Jezebel also has thoughtful, well-written work. If reality shows aren’t for you, fine. Just read their other stuff.

I despise women who do not hold their men responsible for their own actions and blame whatever random woman he gawks, talks to or fucks for him being a disgusting lecher.

Eh, even before you explained the B-tag, I would have believed she didn’t steal it. I once bought a dress from Kohls, then put it on the night I planned to wear it and found that it still had the security tag in the folds. Not sure how I got out of the store without alarms going on, but it’s one of the kind that leaks
