I had the same thought on when the series might be set. In order to make Fraction’s Hawkeye work even a little, you’d need a Clint who doesn’t have a family grounding him — a messy, lost guy who is doing what he can to survive while building a new family out of the people and the dog he finds along the way.

If it’s not a huge orange CGI battle, would you even be able to see our heroes since all battles take place in the darkest possible locales? I remember being pleasantly surprised at Wonder Woman and her daylight adventures, and then the final battle — dead of night.

Completely agree. It’s the main reason I think Flashpoint is a terrible concept for the stand-alone Flash movie. I’m like — you haven’t really even constructed a full picture of movie-verse Barry’s life, and now you want to reboot the whole thing? The audience needs to be fully invested in current Barry’s life before…
