And this why Jason is the best. Expose article that’s reported well, and then follow up when things look like they’re changing. I hope that Jason gets to write as many “They’re doing better” follow-up articles as he can. “Blood, Sweat, & Pixels 3: They’re learning”

Improving the culture of a company is a hard thing to do that takes a lot of time. I hope that it works out for all the people on the ground at Rockstar. To make the culture of a company worse, all you really have to do is to start an herb garden.

“To solve crunch, probably the best you could say: don’t try to make Game of the Year.”

mediocre

Dude, same here. The issue is that I get home from work, play with my daughter, spend time with my wife, eat dinner, give daughter bath and then put her to bed, exercise and then try to squeeze in time to play before books closes for the day but I never get to sell all my fruit. I really wish that they allowed you to

Not wanting to have kids -for whatever reason- is perfectly fine. Having kids is an inherently egotistical attempt to give your life some semblance of purpose.

The fact that Fallout 76 is considered mediocre in some people’s eyes is headline news.

Yeah, I wasn’t doing that.. Nintendo won. I bought my daughter her own Switch Lite and a copy of the game. Happy early Birthday, you’re not living with me. She’s 11 and played New Leaf and knows better, but hell, I don’t even want my husband living on my island, much less my kid. 🤣 Good point is we can still play

And here i am, flushed with all the collectible fruits (to the point where isabelle is telling me to cut em down since my neighbors think its to “rural” and are getting “lost” and i keep forgetting to sell them for the easy cash..

Seriously, there was nothing that could have come after “And yet! Even through all that misery...” that would have made any of this sound worthwhile.

We’re awful, I think, but that’s fine. Because we’re not gonna procreate.

*BREAKING NEWS!*
Fallout 76 continues to be mediocre at best, story at... Oh, that’s the whole story. Carry on.

I sometimes try to imagine what March/April 2020 would have looked like without this game, and it makes me really upset.

Just like the base game! They’re really sticking to mediocrity, aren’t they?

Every time I calmly point out that they, too, could spend some money on improving the island’s roads and bridges, I’m told “no, sorry, we’ve got no money”, or “that’s boring”, or “that’s your job Daddy”.

I’ve been playing with my five-year-old and had similar experiences. He enjoys stealing stuff from around my house and gets mad when I take it back. He threw a tantrum because my house was bigger than his (and he was tired). He got mad because I won’t give him a better axe to chop down random trees.

Progress?
