Maybe, or if we’re lucky they can just play the game with a headset on and realize some of the olds transcend time well enough ;)
The categorization function in the Steam Library continues to be the one thing that blows peoples minds when I show it to them on Twitter.
As of last year I started documenting each time I finish a game in a notepad file, reaching my goal of 25 games (of various lengths) finished in 2017. It’s quite cathartic!

Thanks! I’ve been buying up all of the recipes each time I see them in merchant/vendor inventories. I can definitely see the utility of the oils, but thus far have only invoked them when I have a good guess of what the monster is in advance.
I think that can be fair in some cases (Baldur’s Gate versus Div Sin 2 for example), where things just haven’t aged well. Normally I still make a good faith effort to try older games, sometimes using restoration mods or cheats to make things easier to enjoy for the narrative :)
I’m at around level 25 and almost done with Velen and even that feels like a monumental achievement.

I play Dark Cloud on the PS2 on the regular, nothing wrong with enjoying titles that are behind the bell-curve.
Really excited to give this a go but I’m halfway through Devil Survivor Overclocked, and I was given Apocalypse for my birthday in January and haven’t even opened it yet.
