I was stunned by the continuing quality of this show. The Maia scenes were so beautiful, and the opening theme is as hilarious as ever.

I’ve loved Jay-Z since I first listened to Hard Knock Life Vol 2 when I was in elementary school, so finally being able to both afford tickets to the show and to finally see him perform crossed two things off my bucket list. TBH, when I first was getting to know Jay’s music, I thought HOVa was a reference to HOV

Even though Spike is saying it, it is still true that Denzel was robbed for Malcolm X, and that, while he was superb in Training Day (and Fences, but I don’t want to weigh myself down with that afflecktion), we all know that was a make-up Oscar.

The moment at the party when Nathan joins is magic: you see this man, perpetually looking for human connection, finding it with a group of strangers at a wedding he was only partially invited to. Those glimpses of joy are what makes Nathan for You such a uniquely brilliant show.

That Laurel frankly and unquestionably stated she was on antidepressants like it wasn’t anything to be ashamed of or unusual was so refreshing.

It moved so slowly, but, in the end, it had an important lesson: a black man cannot be heard without the approval of a white man. And that montage set to Heaven Help Us All? Too appropriate.

lil rat-face Dan Snyder

Or was he a jackass?

Where's the Chapter V review? I can give a preview: Barry Jenkins artfully directs a moving, tension-filled chapter, A.

I hadn't even realized that we had no idea about what she looked like until the OJ-Rockingham Tour. But now, it's all I can think about! As focus (finally!) shifts to the question of who Margaret really was, I'm starting to think that no one had a reason to wish her dead…and a rube goldberg string of events would be a

I'm not sure if this has been addressed in previous comment sections, but why is NBC stacking the episodes for this show? My theory is that NBC ordered the show without realizing that its premise inherently limits the order count, so they're playing through the episodes as fast as possible to capitalize on their

I love how both Larry and Howard refer to Josh as Bubbie - but Larry isn't a nor'easterner!

Oh, Forrest! So close, and yet, far too far.

I never understood why Forrest felt the need to never let Suzanne know when he was doing a review and what that review was. Perhaps, I thought, the rules of Review prohibited him from telling others outside the show that he was doing a review. But, now, seeing AJ's review, I doubt any such rule existed, magnifying the

With all the passing mentions of Alicia, hope is starting to build that she'll make an appearance and clarify The Good Wife's ambiguous ending…but I know the Kings would not give us that satisfaction. Maybe a little Eli, or is that asking for too much?

(I hope) the show would not be so cruel as to give the most promising Girl an ending where her parting achievement is solely romantic.
In the same vein, I hope the show would be so honest as to end with Marnie by herself. She's shown the least amount of interpersonal progress among the group (besides, maybe, Jessa

I don't think the show has figured out what they really want to do with her character since they brought her back from Tokyo. But each time we see her, we see a woman maturing faster and in a healthier manner than any other of the Girls. I hope they have a satisfying end to her story.

Ray is too good for Marnie, and generally, too good for all the Girls. I mean, Herbie was right! If Ray lived up to his potential, he could do great things! At the very least, he'd sustain a spin-off show on his own.

Mama always said life was like a box of ballots, you never know who you're gonna get, so you limit voting to people that think like you, so you at least got a pretty good guess of what you're gonna get!

Lauren's best line: "the prank was murder!" It hits all the sweet spots: 1) commentary on a sublimely surreal news story; 2) a suprime true-crime story; 3) a prank-gone-horribly-wrong. I would watch a movie based on this story! Imagine the trailer: "…what happens…when a harmless prank…turns deadly serious…?"
